Does the reader draw power from the powerbank ergo the rated capacity seems to be lower than expected? I mean, rated capacity should have been somewhere around 3000 to 3500 instead of 2387?

1 hour = 60% not bad
Any power bank is only 60%-70% efficient.

Remember, that mAh reading on the USB meter is for 5V. You need to convert it to Wh by multiplying the Ah (mAh value divided by 1000) with 5V (the meter shows a bit lower cause either it or the charger is voltage sagging a bit at 2.4A). You cannot compare mAh between different voltages but you can compare Wh. You can estimate how much went into the battery by dividing the Wh by the nominal voltage of the battery (single cell ones in phones are between 3.7V and 3.85V nominal depending on phone brand and chemistry). You can also compare the input Wh with what the phone's battery rating is in Wh (if you can't find this stat, nominal voltage times mAh/1000). Note that comparing the amount of juice that went in with the battery capacity is not the most accurate thing in the world due to conversion losses in the form of heat, but it's close enough for review purposes.

Just want to say thank you for this review
Anker nano power bank can charge iPhone 15 from 7% to 62%.
That status shall definitely be taken into consideration.👍

That power bank must be having 2 pc 18650 cells, mostly low mah cells... u can dissect it and replace both cell with atleast 3400 mah Samsung or LG cells and that will charge iPhone completely....

Ppl sometimes dont realize the importance of battery efficiency as it wont matter that an iphone has 4000 mAh and that PB has 5k, the efficiency at 70% or a bit more means it is not converting every single watt as the ads say, this is a good example of that, good vid!

This is really really interesting to understand how a battery really behaves compared to specs on paper!
