Does anyone know how accessible Divi 5 is through wp-graphql , if I would like to build a website over Gatsby and pull Divi content over graphql, would it be as straightforward as with Gutenberg?
ОтветитьWe got a little screwed over with the lifetime license. Great news DIVI now has as AI builder.... wooo hooo!!!! But wait, it does not fall under the lifetime license so open your wallet!! Plenty of us feel a little ripped off. I guess your "deal of a lifetime" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
ОтветитьHello
How can I add alt text in the divi builder. I don't have the divi theme. please help
Hi Mak,
I hope this finds you well.
I wanted to buy Divi Theme Builder after watching your video but I found out that your link is broken. Have a look quickly as you will be losing business.
How do I transfer a website I made in Divi to a client? Does my client have to buy Divi too?
Thank you
Ayo @sitekrafter are you from Zim?
ОтветитьI have the lifetime license but i lose the hope with this Page builder... 😢
ОтветитьIf Divi can be used in Gutenberg editor, does this mean, that we can combine Divi with different Gutenberg block editors like Kadence blocks for example?
ОтветитьI started my website business with DIVI, it will always have a spot in my heart.
ОтветитьI am a long time lifetime user. I've been building websites for small and medium size companies. At this point, I really need Divi to run faster and be more stable during the development process. I don't really need more fancy stuff (we have many 3rd party plugins for that), but just enhancements here and there. Then, when it's done, we can move on with other things.
I do like Divi because it's a theme. That's a big difference with Elementor. It's all embedded. You don't have to worry about buying a theme and buying Elementor, upgrading both and maybe experiencing compatibility issues after every upgrade. With Divi, you have a consistent interface from your theme configuration to your page builder and that's great.
I'm really looking forward testing Divi 5. My only concern is - will all the 3rd party plugin work with Divi 5? What about the child themes, the extra CSS/JS we added? Will the architecture of the html, Ids of html tags... stay identical? That would be interesting to know.
Does Elementor have a life time membership? If not I'll stick with my Divi's life time membership. The Divi Builder has everything that I need to get the job done!
ОтветитьMac, On August 12, I bought your BloggerPro theme after watching your video building a blog in 25 minutes. The theme did not include a .json file and is unusable. I paid $19. for it. Please review your sales and either issue a refund or send a working copy of the Divi Blogger Pro theme. Thank you.
ОтветитьWell Mac, I've been watching you for a very long time now and I think you are a good content creator, but I disagree with you on DIVI at the moment, I already own the Life time licence and am fully aware on how far behind they are on new features, its great that that they are working on ways of speeding DIVI up, but as nick has said no new features which means they will fall even further behind the competition. Its seems to me that most of the new features that come along are from add-ons that you need to purchase a subscription from the Divi Store, I signed up for the the lifetime licence because I don't like anything subscriptions based, therefore I'm stuck until they release something interesting, actually that not true, I'm not stuck because I am using other application for free and they are even better than DIVI at the moment. I do hope Divi pulls it back otherwise I've wasted a lot of money, well a lot of money to me anyway.
ОтветитьI had no idea what flexbox was until I listened to this. I too have been thinking of bailing on Divi and going with Elemntor. I have used Divi for years. Good vid. Hope Divi sees it and add that flexbox.
ОтветитьHi Mac,
Divi 5 'probably' will be faster, something they've been promising that since version 4. If they make this happen, we will still have an out-of-date page builder. Divi 6 will 'probably' be the first big step forward. Until then: Breakdance builder is my primary choice for now.
As a software developer, when I hear "Ground up", I know it means serious focus (and more importantly resources). Good luck to them - but it's a big ask in such a competitive market. Love your videos by the way. You are the only reason we still consider Divi as you provide honest/reliable feedback - so keep up the great work.
ОтветитьLOL. You are kinda funny - and not in a good way. For years and years you tout DIVI (and not that long ago) and then you realize there are issues? Seriously? Of course there were issues, everyone that uses/used Divi knew this. But the bottom line is that with Divi you, and many others, could still make GREAT websites. Correct? Yes, correct.
The bottom line is that you are here to sell memberships as an affiliate, not only for Divi but Elementor. A lot of features that people think are really useful with other page builders - aren't really needed to make really good websites. I used Divi, Elementor, and Thrive Architect. For me Thrive Architect is the best of those three - but all can be used to make really good websites that the user or client absolutely love.
Divi is by far the best value when it comes to page builders and community support.
I"ll always be very thankful to Divi, which I've used for over a decade.
But it's way behind. Getting where other builders are right now will take ET at least 2-3 years.
I’m sure you hate DIVi, but you are so invested in it so you’ll have to continue down this sunken cost path, hoping the DIVI messiah will deliver on his promises. Good luck to us all :)
ОтветитьI work with Divi for 5 years now and started with your tutorials. A huge thank you from me, too.
There are so many small bugs and things that don't work, that its sometimes really annoying. After all the years I stuck to Divi, have a good library of workarounds, but some things are still there, since many years, which do not work properly. And if its just that you copy module settings and the settings for other devices are not copied etc., the missing scalable issue in the functions PHP, where I do have to go into functions PHP on every website to fix the scalability, the website customizer messing up the font sizes, line heights etc, and many more.
Still Divi is the most comfortable builder so far. But I also see Gutenberg improves very fast, and other builders are actually worth trying out. I focus on speed now for all my websites. I dont use animations, fancy modules or so, if I can avoid it. For this: Divi is still the best, fast workflows, easy to handle.
I hope they get divi 5.0 out soon, and can focus on improving these old and known issues and bringing out some new features too.
I thinl divi have to build better than webflow or framer so divi can compete again
ОтветитьMak, what do you think about Webflow and Framer?
ОтветитьThanks for keeping us updated about Divi.
I’ve seen other page builders like Framer and Webflow that look very interesting; however, I’ve already invested money and time in Divi that I don't feel like changing up. I'd rather stay with Divi and start learning a new platform for a different type of purpose and clients.
I signed up for the lifetime license back in the day, so what does that mean for me as far as getting access to Divi 5?
ОтветитьMac, I want you to know that I think you are an amazing person. You have made my life better and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep rocking it, Mac!
ОтветитьWell said!
ОтветитьI really agree with this, it has just dawned on me this week that it looks like Elementor websites are far ahead of Divi sites. It is all good Divi saying 5 will come out, but when? By the time they release it, I feel I will be on Elementor and won't look back.
ОтветитьDivi 5 will be years behind the competition upon release, with new features only planned for Divi 6. But the competition isn't standing still and waiting for Divi to catch up. I've already switched sites to Kadence, and I just don't know if Divi will ever be able to pull ahead enough for me to consider it again.
ОтветитьI find it strange that you suggest viewers to purchase a broken/outdated product based on a promise of future improvement and FOMO alone rather than actually visible improvements of the product (e.g. Alpha/beta version of the rebuilt Divi). What do you tell your followers if the Dive still stays behind other modern builders?
ОтветитьI’m considering moving over to Elementor. I’m not sure when version 5 will be released and and made to public.
ОтветитьI upgraded using your link. How do I send you the receipt?
ОтветитьIt's definitely time for the upgrade Question: how long do think it will take before we can use Divi again with the new releases? I loved Divi but stopped using it because I had much better results with other builders on core web vitals, menu system and mobile responsiveness is not that great it's a lot faster and more stable to get done with other builders... Gutenberg blocks is behind..woocommerce is behind..just to name a few.. I stopped using it cause I was afraid the project is going to be dropped due to the slow development and then I have a lot of sites to rebuild..I really hope it gets better would love to use it more.. I do have faith in Elegant Themes that they will get it right again... Thank you
Ответитьgreat boss❤
