This is a whole load of crap. I was playing normally when suddenly my ps4 shut off then i turned it back on it said safe mode in the top left, it told me to connect a controller and press the ps button…. But for some reason my controller wont work.. it is charging fine but it just wont turn on !?!?
Can somebody please help with this?

I only have a keyboard and i reset it what do i do

The controllers do nothing it wont go into the menu at all..

It worked for me personally. I will now do it at the start of each new season for PS4 maintenance.

When i get to the safe mod i cant move to the other options

I was restore results get out safe mode too easy

Hey guys I removed the gta 5 disc then I chose restore default setting and it worked .

OK what do you want me to do because my PlayStation is glitching every time I put the HDMI cord into the PlayStation and it’s saying connect the dual shock for using the USB cable and then press the PS button but then I’m confused because it saying safe mode at the top of the corner now I can’t play on my PlayStation, so I don’t know if I have to clean it or get a new one or try to fix it but something is going on. I cannot get on none of my games and I really wanna play GTA again so and I don’t have a mini screw to clean it. I don’t know how to freaking supposed to open it without its mini screw. PlayStation remote is not turning on. I have two and they’re not turning on and every time I try to move around the cord into the PlayStation it keep glitching, what do I do about that and I cannot get into my PlayStation, so how am I supposed to fix it without going into my PlayStation?

I did option No.5 but it didn't work.The corrupt files are still on my PS4. I still can't download the game. It gave me the error code CE-30005-8.

The other day I was playing and I decided to stop playing. I turn off the Playstation4 in the menu and it showed "your Playstation is off, do not unplug the plugs" it turns off and the Playstation button stayed White blinking. I turn on the Playstation4 and it says "restarting Playstation do not unplug the cables" and the Playstation did not restart and it sends me to safe mode and says to plug in a USB and I don't have one. Can anyone help me? Sorry for my English I'm Argentinian

I just fixed mine I accidentally unplugged it and I had to do a 10.01 system update and no matter what I did the USB didn't have it so I held the power button until it said update system over internet and I tried it a couple times and it worked

I cannot rebuild data base on PS4 for some reason each time I try it just gives me an error and restarts and loops back into safe mode telling me to update system when it's legit updated
