Girl I need more info otherwise I’ll be lost trying to do this & I really want to make this mix! I’m currently trying my best to support my two aloe plants 😭
Ответитьcactus soil 50/50 mix with pumice for cacti. you can split the cactus mix with coir too. For regular plants cactus soil, pumice, coir and orchid bark in equal parts. use clay pots and you won't ever have gnats.
Ответитьno one wants to hear all that. just show how to do it
Ответить🙏Thank u @PlantsWithKrystal 4 this vid!!!🙏
ОтветитьDo you mix perlite and pumice?
ОтветитьI just did that last night succulent mix and perlite for my succulents.. the cactus in mix isn't airy enough..
ОтветитьI had a friend who just got into houseplants and the "soil amendments talk" was simply magical. We even talked drainage afterwords 😊 he learned how much of a nerd I really am
ОтветитьAnd the cost of this mix is 700 dollars for one plant? I use 75 percent compost 25 percent sand with small grit in it. Cactus I use up to 50 percent sand and grit to compost. Everything else makes it super expensive and not really needed but it can help in different situations. Good videos as usual girl 👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьGurl I just bought all this shit. I'm about to save my gurls 😭
ОтветитьIt looks like she's baking something. I love it. 😍😩
ОтветитьI did not know about indoor potting soil I have lost every indoor plant. I have stopped trying because I have wasted so much money . Keep your videos coming I can dream about having plants
ОтветитьWood bits noo
ОтветитьThank you 😄
ОтветитьPlant whisperer love it.
ОтветитьSometimes I amend with those little bags of rocks from Dollar Tree. Literally ANYTHING that gets that drainage going!
ОтветитьCan we just use store mixes or do we have to use all those add ins. beginner asking
ОтветитьI went out I bought the bags of perlite I bought cactus mix I bought Orchid mix didn't work I got a bunch of fungus gnats. So now I have four or five huge bags of my special soil that I mixed just sitting around and will definitely not use because I've gone back to the old-fashioned Miracle-Gro that's always worked for me LOL
ОтветитьU are amazing!🎉
ОтветитьWhat coco coir do you use? Couldn't see the brand.
ОтветитьYour fun! I need to know if hydrogen peroxide is actually good 4 plants..
ОтветитьAny tips on what to do if you have soil in a container like that and it gets moldy?
ОтветитьHelpful! Cuz my hibiscus r just dying. Gonna do this!
ОтветитьWhat about for fruits and veggies outside? I’m having a little bit of trouble with the top being dry on all my beds.
ОтветитьLove ❤You so Helpful
ОтветитьMy soil mix turned into ammonia and no one can explain why😢
Ответитьlove this crazy lady
ОтветитьDo you reuse soil after repotting or do you discard the old soil?
ОтветитьI love. Your. Eyes 😻
ОтветитьYou're literally cooler than bill nye the science guy
ОтветитьMosquito bits can be put in your mix directly? I thought you had to put the mosquito bits in a drainage bag and put in water for thirty minutes then water plants and do it for three weeks? Once a week of course?
ОтветитьWould you have to add extra perlite or pumice to souls marked for succulents and cacti? Are we all being set up for failure with these commercial mixes??
ОтветитьOkay Y’all 😂. Here is the recipes. I know it’s hard to understand, but she is giving you two different types of soil mixes to use.
First soil mix for Cacti & Succs:
Use bag of soil that is branded for Cacti & Succulents, add in horticultural pumice as the amendment.
Soil mix 2:
Use bag of All Purpose Potting soil, Bag of Orchid Bark, Mosquito Bits (to help with fungus and gnat prevention), and perlite. Can also top soil with worm castings. :) There ya go folks lol 😂
I love Krystal.
ОтветитьThank you for your service
Ответитьwhy you so cute
ОтветитьI am so glad you did this video! Also, I just went and got a clear tote with a lid to keep my soil in. Thank you for this video!
ОтветитьHaha sooo... do you have an Amazon list or something so I could find that pumice?!
ОтветитьI don't measure either. Just pour and look. 👍😊🤗🌱🌿
ОтветитьThis is me at 6 years old making dirt brownies in my backyard, i also made tea by mixing a bit of sand into a water cup. No but really i love your channel, i am learning so much
ОтветитьI Just Slam some nutrient Sticks in my Pottet plants. Never repottet them and they get water as soon as i See the leafs drop. Few years now and still growing.
Tbf i think ITS more important to find an appropriate place for the plant ITS Like 90% of the work
My favorite plant consultant ❤
ОтветитьPls do a longer video to explain more! Love ur videos.
ОтветитьI would add charcoal and worm castings as well
ОтветитьMosquito Bits, that’s simething I wouldn’t thought of for non-awyatic applications like this, but it makes sense since it prevents insect larvae/pupae from maturing into adults. Good helpful hint!
ОтветитьLove her!
ОтветитьWhats the second item you put in?
ОтветитьIs there an animal friendly version of soil mix?
ОтветитьIs this mix for All HOUSEPLANTS OR JUST CACTUS 🌵 IM A LITTLE CONFUSED 😐 I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU 🪴
ОтветитьGirl!i want to make you my new best friend! you said that if someone wants to be your friend, that i would only have to listen to you talking about plants,or help with your plants or buy you a plant and I could be your friend.
