the dog goblin movies are cursed, when i watched them with my 2 friends in one run after we watched 1 and 3 but not 2, they dropped dead on the spot, it was funny af so now i believe the dog goblin movies are cursed.

I find it interesting that it apparently doesn't need to be said uninterupted. Since the people in tape 2 said it 4 times on accident while talking about it. Or in the third one where they only said the words "Dog Goblin" 2 times in succession... but did just saying Goblin do it? Or did calling it a puppy named Goblin do it? I assumed the "dog" part was important to its name. This curse has some weird rules. Wait, what's that noise-

I feel like dog goblin is a parody to horror movies. First movie was scary but subsequent sequels are just aren't scary

My theory is that it’s a horror movie franchise, since it’s such a odd plot line, and the short tapes are from the vhs’s tape being damaged.

In my opinion Charity is dog goblin. Most of the attacks happen centered around her, but she never dies. This would make sense with the full moon which correlates to werewolves.

I thought of it as a nod to how a typical horror franchise plays out.
The first movie is the best and scariest, leaving your character panicked. But the sequels don't have the same punch, probably because of cheaper effects or inferior predictable writing, and they get progressively dumber, especially with how they summon the monster. Finally, the last one pulls an ultimate jump-sharking card - take it to space.

That last one literally happened with the Friday the 13th franchise, specifically the movie Jason X.

If you spawn in Riverside, you don't find these interesting VHS tapes. Most houses are pretty much empty. Even the VHS stores are pretty much empty with only a couple of VHS tapes left. LOL

she wasnt just sacrificing folks, she was learning, maybe the first couple were mistakes. Then she found the best location to offer a more level battlefield. why else would a random person be on the space station with a space shotgun? not sure if we are using real life at all here, but Im pretty sure a shotgun in space would be just as deadly as a bomb in space. This was a one-way trip. if she could kill him at all, this would be the way to do so. Even if she doesnt take him out, she is still effectively leaving him to die in whatever orbit the space station holds.

you know how theres only two vhs tapes which provide stress moodlets, the Dog Goblin one and the Hollywood Insider tape? So heres my working theory.. the person we play as can have specific occupations but we're never an affluent individual in any zone. We live in middle/low income levels based on where we spawn in so my theory is that the person we're playing as was an extra in Dog Goblin that never actually watched it, because watching the first one would remind us that we were an extra in the movie. Maybe we were the ones who wore the dog goblin outfit and the irony of killing people prior to the zombie apocalypse causes some kind of psychological break to happen. The reason we get stress watching the hollywood insider vhs tape is because the player met some of the celebrities in it because they were in Dog Goblin and the worry we get is from whether or not they made it.
