The Racist Origins of U.S. Law

I think using the same term of racism for stuff happened before the up coming of modern citizen based capitalist states and from stuff before is somewhat wrong. Not that there didn't older forms of xenophobic and discriminating ideology existed but its very important to make clear how these ideologies shifted on greater shifts in history upon views of society and the individual. The history of so called scientific racism starts at the 19th century and its an European invention and had nearly nothing to do with the history of slavery in America. Arthur de Gobineaus "Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races" sets an start point and its an racist debate where color doesn't is by any means central to this ideology. Its this book wich kicks of by Arthur de Gobineau view on Slavic people and there influence on Europe an Ideology wich also influenced Richard Wagner son in law Houston Stewart Chamberlain the Race ideology of Antisemitsim wich later raicalizes later till the Nazi Ideology. Arthur de Gobineau open hate against slavic people didn't make him an allie for US racists like Henry Hotze. As Hotze written to Gobineau asking for permission to translate ""Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races" he was heavily against it. Gobineau replied that he considered the racism of Americans to be inferior to his own idea of race and condemned the persecution of indigenous people and blacks in America. This fits in with the Nazi ideology that the persecution of black people was not a priority, in contrast to the extermination of the "Jewish opposite race"

Violent crime against total prison population doesn’t highlight how violent crime led to an increase in the prison population if
exclude the other reasons why the prison population increases. Germany and Finland are far more educated than the dummies that live in this country, which is why higher educated countries have less crime and prison population. U highlighted how we became enslaved and segregated and the laws that kept it that way, but didn’t highlight how once these things ended, how it continued to keep us down without discussing education and the lack of effort by those in our community as well as our leaders that failed us. U also said that the prison population is disproportionately black, but failed to point to the figures that show we commit more violent crimes than other racial groups. Also among the black population in America, African Americans earn 42,000 while black immigrants earned 58,300. I feel like this story was made intentional to be one sided.

Slavery has been around for a long time, but America took it to a whole other level when they made it about race. So yeah, America was like Hitler-level bad, probably worse.

not only do these 'laws' they made against the black population harm them, they also inadvertently harm the white 'privileged' population. take cannabis for example: Harry Anslinger HATED the blacks, the libs, the migrants, and the hippies so damn much, he made a harmless [medicine] (well, mostly harmless, but don't give them to kids and keep in mind it can be an allergen like peanut to certain people) schedule one and illegal as hell. my dad actually smoked weed during his college years, and when my mom met him thru a lab co-op course, he was the most mellowest man you've ever met, and damn smart as well. when they got married and settled down to have me and Sis, dad had to essentially cut back on using weed, not knowing he was using it for medicine rather than recreational. i'm not sure if he was doing it to protect me and Sis from any second-hand smoke or to avoid getting prosecuted for personal use, but since then, his behavior and mood changed drastically that it was like walking on eggshells around him. needless to say, our relationships with him were not the best, and that's only the surface scratched compared to what we call THE UNFORTUNATE EVENTS he put us thru because of his habits, demeanor and behavior.

long story short: turns out he had ADHD, which Sis and i discovered thru our own diagnoses via second opinion clinics (Kaiser Permanente sucks balls when it comes to mental health) last year after being in quarantine for almost a year at the time and realizing we were not getting ANYTHING constructive done at home compared to the others in the US. unfortunately, dad was too old and too sick to do anything about it for himself, and he passed away late last year when his NASH finally shut down his liver functions (since he couldn't get his fix from weed, he drank coca-cola, which has caffeine innit, which i believe was what killed him).

had weed NOT been illegal, and maybe been researched fully in the scientific community, dad would've benefited from its medical abilities and been a really fun and good father to us growing up rather than the grumpy grizzly bear that he was. instead, we suffered immensely, and we paid immensely for it as well, financially and emotionally.

i blame the nixon and reagan admins for this absolute bigoted move just because they're scared of a black American practicing their second amendment rights, and if that little act of self-reliance as American citizens is enough to scare reagan and his chickenshjt yuppy friends enough to ban open-carry laws in the state of California (which i live in), then i'm not the only one who has "issues" that need to be dealt with via talk therapy and antidepressants :/
