Really appreciate how you two travel. Doing some research for my upcoming trip to Taiwan. Taking my family to visit family but it is only my third visit, including being born there. Lisa's experience resonates with me. I am Taiwanese-American but my parent from Taiwan has passed. Most of my knowledge of Taiwan is academic. I am making my first trip in little over a month to meet my girlfriend family and discuss her trantion state side. Unfortunately, just this for under a week but looking forward to making the most of my time there

How come did i feel so comfortable watching the English-speaking Vlogger to introduce Taibei! I kept taking down lots of notes of the restaurants and the name of the delicious foods !
I ama Canadian-chinese while my son was totally Canadian, a western-style foods lover. So i did lots of research to mingle with our tastes buds to cater to both of us for the trip to Taiwan next March.

Taipei is the most underrated city in the world, I spent a week in Taipei alone and it wasn't enough.

You may know just half of the history. Do you know prior to that they were many people from China were killed? Please read the complete history not just half of the history.

Great info on the Ubikes, used to be just and MRT card that got you a rental, but nice to be aware of the change now, I would strongly suggest to any traveller to get a temporary pre-paid unlimited data sim card when you arrive at the airport they usually last 30 days then but you buy them in multiples of 30 days if you need to stay longer for the price they are pretty cheap, there are tons of deals that can only be found at the airport and they gear the service towards foreigners as you best starting point anyway, so keep that in mind, it will be of huge benefit.

As for city based bike paths along the river especially, I found them to be some of the best in the world by comparison, worth doing.

You guys did an amazing job with this video! I often find people try too hard and I find it annoying but you both just seem so genuine and likeable. You went to just about every place I went on my trip a few years ago. Glad you had a good time!

before pandemic Airbnb is so cheap in Taiwan，i can have 1 room that 1 pte toilet , and no owner , the house is subdivided into 4 rooms, now I Can't get such a deal anymore , only can stay in capsules
