This is awesome. Now i don't have to play the game to enjoy the story. I should do this more often.

I never really thought about this before and it is purely conjecture, but I wonder if a small subconscious part of Joel and Tommy's falling out had to do with him maybe blaming Tommy for Sara's death. Like maybe he though why did you save me and not her? The way survivor's guilt can make you blame others who have no true fault in what is just a terrible, unlucky, and unfortunate situation maybe?

they should put some black powder on that rebar wound and burn the hole shut on both ends. would have made joels survivability more believable

they should have made a 3 movie trilogy of the first game, instead of a tv series. and not touch part 2. that garbage is about as canon as star wars 7-9 😮‍💨

Although I really appreciate someone doing all this work, this person still sucks at playing the game properly eventhough it's not that difficult, especially on easy mode like this one.

@glp I love that you included gameplay footage so it can truly be seen as a movie! I don't like when similar videos just have the cutscenes right after the others, it doesn't make it watchable or make sense some time for a new person at all since there's time jumps and abrupt cuts. But this is really well done! Like a movie! Big congratz!

I understand that everything looks better and some things have slightly changed but what’s this whole addiction with remakes in the video game industry? We made the same game again everyone!! If people wanna play it obviously they can and that’s their choice but I just don’t understand why it needs to be made again and upgraded, im a huge souls fan and to this day haven’t touched the demon souls remake, what’s the point? It looks and plays a bit better? I personally see it as a cash grab, people loved the first game so ofcourse it would be enticing to play a remade version of it and I’ve played the original over 20 times, and I’d still rather play that than the same game but having to buy it again just because I know I will like the game already, people make one good thing and that’s it, rarely anything else on par with those big titles because there’s a risk involved with making new games and stories, but so what? I’m not giving these big bud companies more money for what I’ve already been sold years ago. I just wanted to see what this remake is all about so that’s why I’m here, but it just still baffles me why the game needs to be done all over again. Is it really worth it? Things will never be like the first time I touched that game even if it looks better than it use to, I don’t see stuff like that I’m absolutely oblivious to it, the game can look like Minecraft for all I care and I’m not gonna be exited because they made the edges smoother on buildings and put nicer skin on the characters. I’m not saying anyone who bought and played the remake is a dumbass, I just don’t see the point of remakes at all since the game already exists.

Every zombie over the past 400 years for from headshots. All that shooting in the arms and legs like Rad Brad....you just wasting ammo 😂😂🤦🏾‍♂️

The first episode of the show did great with sarahs death, but theres something about the greater subtly of the games version compared to the sbow. Here, Joel doesnt yell or scream or anything dramatic, its just so raw and visceral. I always get choked up when he leans in to Sarah's body and practically whispers "don't do this to me, baby girl, don't do this to me, come on." That felt so fucking real.

It's pretty cool to see the whole dialogue like a movie but whoever made this video sucks at the game, damn... it hurt my eyes so many times that I needed to fastforward anytime this noob gamer actually needed to play the game 🤦‍♂️🤣

I used to be critical of the story, specifically cars. Gas doesn’t last 20 years, there would be zero new gas produced after the outbreak. But then I got to thinking, that’s probably not true. Manufacturing would be stopped at outbreak, but after the first year or ever few months oil rigs and refineries could be started back up. People would build communities around them. Oil is crucial for home heating and transportation. That made me feel less skeptical about the story being believable.

Did Joel and Tess ever do it? You know the “it” I’m referring to

Just completed this on PC for the 2nd time... The graphics are night and day when compared to the PS4 version i played earlier.

As much as I disagree with Naughty Dog and hated Last of Us Part 2, This will always be one of the best video game stories
