i’m laughing so hard at him wearing a life jacket in water that’s not deep with no waves 😂😂
ОтветитьI thought we need to also remove the MgCl2 and CaCl2 from the salt as well to make it actually edible
ОтветитьNow turn salt back into water?
ОтветитьI would never though i would watch somebody getting salt from the ocean lol
ОтветитьMARAVILLOSO 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьIs that near Dallas Road?
Ответитьlets all stop the cap, you came here from daily dose of internet
ОтветитьThere is a lot of contamination, microplastics, heavy metals, and radiation on the sea bro, i wouldn't eat that salt taken from a contaminated water area. No kind of filter is going to remove it from the water
Ответитьwait a sec you brought it out with the mitts, and then grabbed it with ur bare hands lol
ОтветитьWas für eine Sauerei. 350km fahren und stundenlang Wasser kochen für ein paar Gramm Salz. Denk mal an das CO2.
ОтветитьCan you make sea salt from sea water straight from the ocean? Absolutely. Should you? It's debatable. As others have said, it's not very cost-effective done the way you did it. A lot of the makers of sea salt dry it in the sun because no additional fuel or energy source is needed.
However, while it can certainly be tasty, as well as satisfying to make your own, I wouldn't eat it straight from the ocean like that. Many sea salt manufacturers/packagers filter and clean the ocean water first as there are still bacteria and other nasties in the sea that boiling alone may not get rid of completely. While boiling may kill the fecal matter from coastal run-off, ocean life excrement, rotted sea life, and whale sperm, there are still things like broken down micro-plastics, mercury, man-made chemicals, as well as oil and other petrol products left by boats and other equipment that would still be in it. Enjoy!!!
Great video
ОтветитьEnergy spent?
ОтветитьIm really curious if the salt would make your food taste better! Nice video btw gj
ОтветитьCame here from daily dose because I immediately recognized Dallas beach!
ОтветитьWho else came here from Daily Dose?
Ответитьall that chemicals, oil and agricultural run off is gonna taste really good. 😂
Ответитьnooo not the cliffhanger
ОтветитьThe time and energy you put into this, cost 89% more than if you just weñt and bought it..stupido 🥴 5 hours boiling it down cost you $$$$ 🤪 too much !! The truth hurts. Sorry 😔
ОтветитьI remember puting seawater into a plastic cup and letting it sun dry when I was a kid, it also worked. But I didn't ate it.
Ответитьmakes me realise there is probably no way to make salt from the ocean in a reasonable amount that is cheaper (let's not even mention FASTER) than buying it, except maybe just leaving it outdoors to dry (and then filter again), and that's only if you live close by. i've watched a documentary and the reason it's so cheap, is because, in Africa, whole families are contracted for GENERATIONS to pay an old debt and when people try to help them, even the African countries' government intervenes because their economy would be affected if they'd get paid humane wage (they can barely not die from hunger...). the families often live in the salt mines with no hope of better life:( it's like the whole world is against them
ОтветитьPretty cool to see a clip from this on Daily Dose of Internet today. Nice job
ОтветитьIs it safe to use?
ОтветитьHere from Daily Dose
ОтветитьThis was amazing!
ОтветитьBut the energy cost to produce that salt had to be 100 times more than buying it from the store?
ОтветитьThis is a fantastic idea!
ОтветитьCool idea but the resulting product is not safe for human consumption. It will contain any and all chemical pollutants such as PFAS and other petrochemicals, heavy metals and other industrial chemicals present in seawater. Please do not eat a lot of this salt!
ОтветитьYep. That's salt
ОтветитьYessss long format! I wanna make my own salt too now😂😂
ОтветитьBlack Pepper episode 🥳🥳🥳
ОтветитьDo more full length ones eh, ❤🎉
ОтветитьYour daughter is going to love these videos once she's older
ОтветитьWhat a good video! An overall wholesome vibe and a childlike curiosity. Loved it ❤
ОтветитьAlso fun (salt?) Fact, during British colonial rule in india, they banned locals from producing their own salt from the sea, and instead insisted them to buy expensive British factory produced salt (obtained from the same sea!) for more profits, since salt was something used by all people, regardless of socioeconomic or religious background. MK Gandhi, with 78 of his followers began the famous salt march on March 12, 1930 to 5 March 1930, totalling 387 kilometers (240 miles) from his hometown of sabarmati, in Gujarat state, to the coastal town (and famous salt making hub) of Dandi. He broke the law by making a few kilograms of salt from the sea, his followers (who grew much more from the initial 78 during the march itself) followed suite. This was a part of his larger series of non violent civil disobedience movements against the oppressive british rule, seeing their icon, gandhi, breaking "salt law" millions of indians also started making their own salt, angering the colonialists. Gandhi was soon arrested for this but this worsened situations for the colonialist government, cuz people protested and rioted his arrest. Gandhi was released soon and the dreaded salt law was scrapped, tho the non violent Civil disobedience protests were crushed with police brutality.

ОтветитьAlso did you put salt on your salad?
Ответитьlol the camera angle when you put the salt in the oven! I was like "what? Bro has the camera oven by Samsung?" but realized you just put your camera in the oven!
ОтветитьNow all you have to do is build a time machine and go back a few thousand years in the past when people would trade salt for gold
ОтветитьNO WAY IM FINNALY HERE EARLY I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS YOUR AN INSPIRATION
