Its funny, SIlver Lätt is not listed thought he has best sidearm, he is accurate, smooth and throws realy far and he is not even top 10. Is the reason that hes not american or something. Its realy weird to make list "best" and not include player globally.

Eagle is injured all the time BECAUSE of his sidearm, so no way he should be #1. Stokely should be #1 with zero debate.

I dont think many people are going to have success imitating hanum, that disc goes all sorts of different places behind his body before it is released, and would just give people trying to get a reliable forehand even more problems with the dreaded off axis torque wobble

Cmon man. Sidearm and no mention of Scott Stokely? Not only is he one of the original O.G's from OG he's still playing the Pro division and he just placed 3rd at one of the Europe tour events!!! Did I mention how many world distance records he has had for sidearm?

Gotta give a shout to Sara Hokum. Nobody relies on forehand so totally, and dominates with it. If not in the top 10, she should have gotten an honorable mention. Othe than that, great list!

Just seeing this now. Would love to see a 2023 update. So Sadly the Eagle has landed, though a few sidearm upshots keep him on the list for now. Gossage now top 5, and Tattar now on the list. MIght be time for some old Stokely and new Kramer respect. Carry on.

Physically you generate more force by pulling an object rather than pushing it, that's why backhand will always out drive a forehand

I was spotting on hole 8 at Idlewild last year. Austin Hanum outdrove everyone with his sidearm. The only problem with your analysis is that Big Jerm has said Sexton's sidearm is better than his.

In the first two minutes, you can already tell that this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. Putting Aaron Gossage and Anthony Barela as "honorable mentions".

i use sidearm 79% of the time, it just feels better than backhand ngl

WHERE'S RYAN SHELDON? Ryan Sheldon is literally the Happy Gilmore of Disc Golf; this guy comes from a completely different sport (Baseball) and makes a viable showing at the highest level of Disc Golf, that in itself is video worthy. Moreover, the #1 guy on your list, Eagle, says openly that Ryan is the farthest sidearm on tour... Honestly, I don't complete understand what merits placement or what you're looking for to "make" the top 10, so I don't have judgement. If this "top 10 sidearm list" is a list you make yearly, Eagle needs to be removed because he isn't throwing sidearms anymore, and other people need to be mentioned or considered; players, in my mind, like Aaron Gossage and AB. Your other top 10 lists have better breakdowns and you explain the merits or accolades that qualify someone to make the list, this list seems more arbitrary than the others.

Honestly, forget power, forget distance, Big Jerm has easily one of the smoothest forearms out there. It always looks so effortless with how he walks up/winds up. It's awesome to watch

Why do people call it sidearm? It's either backhand or forehand. And no matter how you throw a disc, your arm is at your side. So sidearm is kind of a dumb term. Forehand. That's the correct term.

Ohn scoggins would have been a good honorable mention, but maybe you can do a women's forehand vid too!

1. Clemons is too low on this list.
2. Tristan Tanner not even making an honorable mention is ridiculous.
3. McBeth has an excellent sidearm but should not be on the list. He throws it like 25% of the time, and as good as his sidearm is, there are several other guys who didn't make the list with better (Ezra Aderhold, Joel Freeman, Emerson Keith, Nikko Locastro, and several European guys who I always get mixed up; I remember Silver Latt, but there are more).

Also, I know you're only doing the men, but if you're looking for a sidearm to emulate then you should include Sarah Hokom, Kristin Tattar, and Hailey King. Hailey in particular has superb form. Hokom's form looks awful to me, but her results sure aren't.

Didn't even show what I consider to be Eagle's best forehand. 2021 DGLO straddling the guardrail, 400+ circle hit. Absolute mastery of the forehand.

I would put McBeth higher on the list. I think Ulibarri should be an honorable mention as he is extremely under rated on the forehand. Good list though overall!
