There are people that live like this, and I knew people like that. My ex bff's family, it's at least what I believe is happening here, is for sure in debt. Only one of them worked, he had to stop doing so, as he became too... well, heavy, for working and walking. They still buy so much expensive stuff. Their son, my ex bff's brother, got any version of the Nintendo DS, any game he wanted. The Family had any console, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, anything. The newest phones, often renovated, which must have been expensive too. My ex bff has a diver's license, just recently made a trip to Canada, everyone is still living in the house they have been in since I knew them. The brother is handicapped and doesn't even work. I really am asking my self how much more stuff they got. They must be in so much debt and I have no idea how they get away with that. It's not only objects. They had three dogs at some point, two cats, still have two cats and also got another dog after the other had passed away. I'm astonished!

I've been past the 30k mark with credit cards. Let them wait a few years and they will sell the debt to collectors and the collectors will file a lawsuit. I paid mine back but at my own pace as I was screwed over in a business deal and lost my income and made the choice to pay my mortgage instead of my credit card bills. Funny how they call you everyday and you tell them you're broke every day but every next day they still call you expecting you to make a payment but you have to explain to them you haven't won the lottery.
