LGTM = Looks good to me
Ответить😂
Ответитьthis video is fun to link to people in pullrequests
ОтветитьThis makes me feel good. I feel so dumb at work 😂 (SE)
ОтветитьNot may case, when I push code, I have to prepare a "presentation" to explain what I am doing because he will leave a lot of comments
ОтветитьLol. Wasnt paying attention before. Totally on the senior for approving a CL without asking why he deleted a unit test
ОтветитьMe reading his message: "I have no idea what that is short for."
Ответить😂
ОтветитьWas there a second part where the junior software dev gets a phone call because everything fails now?
ОтветитьI thought it was only In residency in medicine 😂lol
I Feel better thanks
Git commit -m "some changes"
Ответитьman that all day?
ОтветитьHahahaha! I like that
ОтветитьExactly what happens in my company..
ОтветитьWth is porndora
ОтветитьI'm an aircraft engineer and thank Fk I don't do this. People would die
Ответитьdoing it right now! Approving pull request without even understanding what is it about :D
ОтветитьThis is the best thing I've seen in a while thank you thank you😍😍😍
ОтветитьRemoving test case will lead to reduce code coverage metric.
Despite this is a bullshit metric, it is used in enterprise.
Yeah, eveyone just assuming everyone else knows what they are doing is exactly how to get stuff done. If it compiles, thats progress.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьHahahahah so true
ОтветитьLiterally me on every community poll.
Ответитьno one knows what is he doing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe difference between a senior and junior is the senior comments the failing tests out while the junior deletes them entirely.
ОтветитьI swear that’s me with a senior level of python
And when my Junior sending me this shit I don’t know what the hell is this 😂
You don't get a cubicle? You have to sit at a table?
ОтветитьYour videos are brilliants
Ответитьhe deleted the test cases
ОтветитьGreat work
Ответитьimagine if actual engineers did this shit
ОтветитьLooks great to me!
Ответить씨맥 폼미쳤다
ОтветитьRemove the test code then problem fixed 😅
ОтветитьYesterday I was in a meeting and a more experienced back-end engineer was going on how it made more sense to do a certain thing X way, I was like “yeah, that totally makes sense! We should do it that way”. After I closed the meeting the first thing I said to myself was “I have no idea wtf he was talking about”. This is too real omg
ОтветитьMore like nobody responds lmfao
ОтветитьХалтурщики есть везде.
Из-за них распадаются компании.
Haha, very much relatable
ОтветитьThere's 4000 people who actually know how to program and everyone else is an imposter.
I'm one of the 4000.
Ahh yes , yet another job soon to be made redundant by A.I. ,I've always thought these bastards were overpaid anyway, good riddance easy mode.
ОтветитьWhy both the Junior and Senior feel the urge to take the shortcut? Is it the pressure of those people(technical support, sre, customers, account managers, MBAers not having written a line of code)? Is it the scrum process that encourages or mandates to mark your points and submit that specific day? I can't believe that someone deliberately wants to do a bad/half job while getting paid.
Ответитьscammer
ОтветитьSame as us in the construction field,.. we had no idea what we were doing, just do ..the job until done 😅
Ответить"Its a feature not a bug"
ОтветитьUsually the seniors only see problems in the naming, indentation, and redundancy.
But if there’s a runtime error or logic error. It slips by relatively easy 😂.
Remember to write your tests along with your implementations!
En todas partes del mundo pasa lo mismo jajajajaja
Saludos desde Chile !
>test fails
>deletes test case
>test no longer fails
The accuracy of this
