ОтветитьSuch a glowing review of the greatest killer in the history of mankind. No man had more blood on his hands than Mao Zedong. Not a single mention of millions of Chinese eating white mud and dying once it solidified in their stomach. No mention of flour being eaten whole and digestive tracts being blocked. No mention of children crucified with barbed wire. No mention of proven innocents getting the death penalty. No mention of the purposeful starvation. No mention of the villages slaying their neighbors, their families, their cousins, all to take their land, then fleeing because they feared retribution. Where are the stories of cannibalism? Where are the stories of women eating their children? Where are the stories of thousands of years of culinary advancement lost because cooking food over a fire meant that you would die a traitor? I seriously question the morals of this narrator. No, no morals matter if the preservation of human life is not the highest goal. The narrator is without any morals that matter. Any wise person would not go near the narrator without a loaded gun.
Ответитьit's funny that u said that those young man were send to learn labor work, but the most of the chinese farmer were having the same work or even harder work for their entire life
ОтветитьIf not because of chairman mao china wont be a world super power like usa n russia
ОтветитьThere are only two possibilities for a person who still holds any shred of goodwill or respect for Mao Zedong: first, he has received lying propaganda and misinformation, that is to say, he does not know what kind of person Mao is, and second, he lacks a basic human conscience and is part of the vested interest group of the Communist Party of China (CPC), of which Mao is a member.
For Americans, the second scenario is less likely and mostly falls into the first category.
Given that most Americans have not had the opportunity to be brainwashed and educated by the CCP, the reasons for this situation basically stem from two scenarios: first, a sense of closeness to Mao because of identification with leftist values, such as subscribing to socialism or Marxism, which is the same as that of the intellectuals who admired the Soviet system in the United States during the Great Depression, but after they learned about the real situation in the Soviet Union, most of them were experienced disillusionment of their dreams; and second, because of the extreme distrust of the American media brought about by Awakeningism and the immature rebelliousness that resulted. In these people's minds, as long as the West is evil and everything the Western media says is a lie, therefore, if the Western media says that Mao Zedong is bad, then Mao himself must be good.
In fact, there are many untruths about Mao in the Western media, the biggest of which is the gross glorification of Mao, such as the so-called "Mao's contribution to China" in the comments section, which are basically lies.
Mao never made any contribution to China's war of resistance, on the contrary, he has been colluding with the Japanese army to fight against the legitimate army of his own country just for the purpose of seizing power, in short, he and the CCP under his leadership are traitors.
The American scholars who have been most critical of Mao have been extremely conservative in their descriptions of him.

Fantastic documentary
ОтветитьChina isn’t “communist in name alone”. Communism literally requires a capitalist phase in order to be achieved. You can’t re-distribute the wealth during socialism if you don’t have wealth to begin with.
Marxist theory predicts a timeline that societies follow that goes feudalism, capitalism, socialism, and then communism. The huge problem with Marxism is that it appeals to people who hate capitalism so the people who tried to implement communism didn’t want to bother with the capitalism step. And it led to disastrous results. Cambodia tried to immediately go to communism and it led to 1/4 of their people being murdered. China tried to do it and look at what happened in this doc. The Soviet Union skipped capitalism right to socialism and it led to famines and massacres. Look at North Korea. Deng Xiaoping was just trying to right the ship by implementing the capitalist phase in order to bring money into the country so the next phases can be enacted. That’s what the Mensheviks wanted to do before being beaten out by the more violent radical Bolsheviks.
That being said, great doc. It’s nice to get some barebones history on Mao that isn’t a 2 hour long one.
If Mao Zedong died at the right time, he would be remembered by most as a hero. But he lived long enough to be seen as one of history's great villains

ОтветитьI think the cultural revolution is still visible on the Chinese people to date.
ОтветитьI can’t think of anyone in the west that matches Mao’s brilliance. He was not good at managing economy, unlike Deng. But at the same time, Deng wouldn’t have taken the CPC to victory in the civil war. Deng depended on Mao, not the other way around.
ОтветитьThe “hero” that had over 60,000,000 Chinese citizens SLAUGHTERED for the cause…and people grumble about Hitler killing 6,000,000 and Stalin over 30,000,000…….wake up people .
ОтветитьAnd even now the only person that appears on every single bill in China is …. Mao
ОтветитьI am an ordinary Chinese. when I was 8 years old, I just heard from my parents that he was a great man.
At 18, I whispered to my classmates that perhaps he had made many terrible mistakes?
When I was 28, I hated him and thought that China would be rich and powerful if not for him.
At 38, I thought that he had also made many great contributions ......
After 50, I finally understood that he was the greatest Chinese. As long as we as a nation don't die, generations of Chinese people will always worship him.
In order to save this dying nation, he did take some violent actions, and I can fully understand him now.
As for, nowadays, the young people of China, they have been born, life is good, so almost everyone worships him, admires him, regard him as a hero and idol ...... ah, this is human nature, this is the national nature.
Hmm now i understand why he was revered. But damn he really made authoritative decisions.

ОтветитьIts no surprise that the majority of the victims of the young, student age Red Guard -led "Beating Meetings" were teachers and figures in authority. It was a massive excercise in surreptitious vengeance carried out by masses of young people handed the power and authorisation to do so. Some of the books I've read... there was later regret.

Did mao really scientifically say that power flows from the barrel of a gun in his little red book?
Yes, Mao Zedong did write the statement "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" in his "Quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong," also known as the "Little Red Book." This statement reflects his belief in the role of armed struggle in achieving and maintaining political power.
