I dont drink alcohol, i cut my consumption down on junk food, of course i dont watch pornog'raphy if course but in still well do masterbation, tho as embarrassing as it is to say i dont use tik tok, instagram, Facebook etc i only use pinterest, Discord, twitter, and YT because their the best apps for health, tho i use YT as a learning tool usually as i got addicted to learning stuff on YT like real engineering and such, i use pinterest to find cool art or something like that when i feel like it, i use Discord as my main source of communication to my friends and to manage my server and small growing community, and i use twitter to communication with my own people and such as im trying to become a VTuber, i only watch TV or play games when i feel like it or wanting to watch a new cool series.
I dont read political news much the only news i trust is Dw documentary and dw news, wion, and buisness insider etc i dont see fox n'ews, cnn, etc their bad.
Also i dont use or do dating apps, recreational drugs, inalso dont do gambling or anything like that, i need to work on doing exercise! Because i rarely do it i got weights i need to start using them again and start doing push ups and stuff. I do have a friend irl who im friends with and i am wanting to see him more often. I rarely drink soft drinks anymore tho i drink them every now and then and i dont eat sweets as much either unless its something im out doing or having fun or such it depends i dont consume them regularly anymore much.
As a gen z i got a lot of my problems sorted over time by myself because i did what i can to do to make myself better and i also do read still tho mostly stuff from wattpad and such tho i got tons of books i could still read, its just the masterbation, stop eating junk and sweets candy food completely, and such as exercise problem i need to overcome. Oh yea and also stop listen to music at such a high volumes. Its also me being addicted to learning stuff on YT i can see being a problem but either way im trying to limit on what im sub to and who i get the nods from and who i love learning the most tho i talk to a lot of my friends from Discord i think the few of these prob'lems i already solved over time through out little over 2 years or so has definitely improved my ability to focus on stuff like my Vtubing career and trying to do research on designing my mascot and improving my Vtuber model. I find it almost impossible to motivate myself to do anything important. I feel like a month away at my mums with a kindle for entertainment would be perfect for my detox

ОтветитьThis one time I took a month detox and started reading more and focusing more, then I was back on socials mindlessly scrolling. This video just reminded me it's time to get back on it and slowly reduce the time I spend wasting time cause the amount of time I spend in front of my phone is ridiculous. Thanks for the video!

When Im bored, when Im supposed to do something, even if I dont want to use my phone or I just want to sleep, I still look for my phone. If you decide to dopamine detox cold turkey without a plan of what you're going to spend your time with, you'll go crazy. I try reading more, learning things I've always wanted to learn but never actual got around to, and exercising. Doing this is so satisfying in the healthiest way, and you can feel that you're doing better internally!

ОтветитьSometimes I literally just want to NOT be on the internet. NOT on the computer or phone. I HATE that all of my books are online now, and I have to print a crap ton just to have an actual physical copy of the text. I also don't have the extra money to get the books physically, when my university does "inclusive access" so all of our text is paid with tuition and is given to us on online platforms. I'm grateful that they do this, but it is frustrating when I just want a book in hand. Being on the computer in general is too tempting.
