As Model 3 60kWh LFP owner I have noticed that the heat pump scavenges heat from the battery until it's temperature drops to around 10-11'C. After this consumption jumps quite a lot. In -8'C outside temperature the car was pulling 4kW to heat the cabin. This was after 80km of drive when battery was down to 10'C.

I wish Bjorn would do some sort of cold car cabin heating tests / consumption tests.

My consumption is usually 190-220wh / km in -10'C with pre-heated car. Speed under 90km/h.

This might be a stupid question, but I am hoping for a more elaborate response, so here it goes: how do you determine if SR is good enough for you or you should get the LR?

My 2021 standard range plus lost all regen after installing winter tires… not sure why I’ve driven 500 km and it’s still not back. Anyone have insight for why

Hate v11 reduction on font size on things like, STATE of CHARGE! and other thigns... Please, Tesla, put the fonts back like they were!!!
The website calls the car Tesla Model 3 (though I've seen it in the used inventory to add) Rear Wheel Drive

My 2005 CRV driver door did this. A quick fix when it starts is super glue paste in the plastic slot and tuck it back in using a lollipop stick to press it in. Just talkes minutes and looks as good as new.

I am driving my M3 2021 SR+ LFP for almost 7 months already and absolutely happy with comfort, range, and drive experience. Now planning long family trip from Latvia to Austria for skiing with a box on the roof :).. Hopefully this will not be too extreme and will have mo problems with range, chargin points etc.. As for now, after 20K km, average battery comsumption is about 140 Wt/km, which I think very efficient even considering summer time. Will see how it will be during my first Tesla winter :)

Anyone buy this in winter where it’s -15? Or -20? How big of an impact do you start to see in Canadian winters?

I had a problem with my 60kwh SR+ when it arrived and the regen was disabled, I was astonished at how far it rolled when I took the power off, they must have worked magic to achieve such little resistance- I wonder if that has anything to do with the efficiency.

In the new trip meter, it does a regular rounding.
10 km displayed is anywhere between 9.5 and 10.5 km.
Same with kWh consumed (was already the case in the previous version)
Very unintuitive for a trip meter

OTA software updates can be a downfall if Tesla does not listen to users who use the software, I hope Tesla is listening, no reason to go backwards on the user interface especially when version 10 was mighty fine!

Is it an idea to "normalise" you consumption figures to a particular temperture? For example the yearly average temp in Norge. Than it is easier to compare the different cars. Now are the numbers always cluthered by the temperature. You can use the general factors from Geotab to calculate a normalised consumption for every range test. I already do that in my EV spreadsheet and it gives good results. I know that the correction factor is different for every car but it differs not to much to be unuseful, i think.

The V11 charging information is better because you can keep track of the charging while you're watching this channel on the web browser, instead of wasting an entire screen for a huge picture and a little bit of information. The old charging screen was only of use to people making charging videos,.

On the US version of the Tesla website, the SR+ is just called "Model 3." The three versions are "Model 3," "Model 3 Long Range" and "Model 3 Performance."

"RWD" would be a bad choice because the first Model 3's were Long Range RWD.

My Cadillac CTS can do 500 miles at 80 mph, allowing me to go from Las Vegas to LA and back without refueling. I want LiFePo for its 100% charge level without degradation, but I guess I also need a 100kWh battery with it in order to have the range I like.

Hey Bjørn. Can you please make a spreadsheet of software tests? Which cars that have different features and stuff like tesla with camp mode and which software that is just fluent and very easy to use and fast to click again like Tesla. Unlike Mercedes with layer on layer to change some settings that is just super old.
