As Model 3 60kWh LFP owner I have noticed that the heat pump scavenges heat from the battery until it's temperature drops to around 10-11'C. After this consumption jumps quite a lot. In -8'C outside temperature the car was pulling 4kW to heat the cabin. This was after 80km of drive when battery was down to 10'C.
I wish Bjorn would do some sort of cold car cabin heating tests / consumption tests.
My consumption is usually 190-220wh / km in -10'C with pre-heated car. Speed under 90km/h.
This might be a stupid question, but I am hoping for a more elaborate response, so here it goes: how do you determine if SR is good enough for you or you should get the LR?
ОтветитьMy 2021 standard range plus lost all regen after installing winter tires… not sure why I’ve driven 500 km and it’s still not back. Anyone have insight for why
ОтветитьHate v11 reduction on font size on things like, STATE of CHARGE! and other thigns... Please, Tesla, put the fonts back like they were!!!
The website calls the car Tesla Model 3 (though I've seen it in the used inventory to add) Rear Wheel Drive
My 2005 CRV driver door did this. A quick fix when it starts is super glue paste in the plastic slot and tuck it back in using a lollipop stick to press it in. Just talkes minutes and looks as good as new.
ОтветитьI am driving my M3 2021 SR+ LFP for almost 7 months already and absolutely happy with comfort, range, and drive experience. Now planning long family trip from Latvia to Austria for skiing with a box on the roof :).. Hopefully this will not be too extreme and will have mo problems with range, chargin points etc.. As for now, after 20K km, average battery comsumption is about 140 Wt/km, which I think very efficient even considering summer time. Will see how it will be during my first Tesla winter :)
ОтветитьAnyone buy this in winter where it’s -15? Or -20? How big of an impact do you start to see in Canadian winters?
ОтветитьMuhuhahaha 🤣🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьI also miss some of the old screens before the update. Larger charge rates, the consumption window at the bottom of the drive screen
ОтветитьI had a problem with my 60kwh SR+ when it arrived and the regen was disabled, I was astonished at how far it rolled when I took the power off, they must have worked magic to achieve such little resistance- I wonder if that has anything to do with the efficiency.
Ответитьthe app, running on android phone look cool.. name? :)
ОтветитьTop review 🤙💪🙏
ОтветитьI hope they bring back some features… Charging screen and Trip information was better before…
ОтветитьCan you tel the exact name of the wheels? I cannot find the maker, thanks!
ОтветитьSo agreed to worsening of the software…
ОтветитьI hate the new layout in the Tesla, I want the old one back
ОтветитьBjorn please do a test with the LFP pack when summer comes as well, these LFP packs seem to be real gems!
ОтветитьTesla shieeeet GUI+Radar
ОтветитьNo more 999.9 nooooooooo
ОтветитьMan. Elon should just give you 1 Mio. € haha. All of your videos are just forcing me to have a Tesla M3 60 kWh in the next years. MAybe in 2 years there will be a 65 kwh Version damn
ОтветитьProtect this man at all costs!!
ОтветитьIn the new trip meter, it does a regular rounding.
10 km displayed is anywhere between 9.5 and 10.5 km.
Same with kWh consumed (was already the case in the previous version)
Very unintuitive for a trip meter
Hey, whats up Björn! When will you test the first Model Y from Giga Berlin? March, April. When will it arrive at marcusbil?
ОтветитьOTA software updates can be a downfall if Tesla does not listen to users who use the software, I hope Tesla is listening, no reason to go backwards on the user interface especially when version 10 was mighty fine!
ОтветитьHi Bjorn, front radar, thought all radar have been removed and no radar on current Tesla's? You just never know these days.
ОтветитьYup, V11 software is a huge step backwards.
ОтветитьI got my RWD model 3 November 17th UK, I get max 275miles least 271miles. I think it must be 60kw version, but it says on Tesla site that the RWD does 305miles, I have no idea what I have, please help.
ОтветитьWau perfect
ОтветитьThey must have hired Microsoft programmers to build version 11.
ОтветитьDoes anybody know the name of the rims?
ОтветитьMy ID4 (US spec, no heat pump) winter consumption is hovering around 220-250wh/km. Model 3 is a lot more efficient.
Ответитьi thought there is no radar any more in the tesla
Ответитьi was waiting for this video
ОтветитьWelcome back in good cold Europe, Björn! If I Order the basic Model 3 in Germany now, how can I ensure to get the new 60kWh battery pack?
Ответитьv11 is a triumph of form over function. It looks great but is terrible to use. I hope Tesla realise the mistake.
ОтветитьI thought the radar was removed?
ОтветитьYep, v11 sucks.
ОтветитьIs it an idea to "normalise" you consumption figures to a particular temperture? For example the yearly average temp in Norge. Than it is easier to compare the different cars. Now are the numbers always cluthered by the temperature. You can use the general factors from Geotab to calculate a normalised consumption for every range test. I already do that in my EV spreadsheet and it gives good results. I know that the correction factor is different for every car but it differs not to much to be unuseful, i think.
ОтветитьWhat brand are those "Pizza" rims? I can not identify it by the hub cap. Thanks Bjorn
ОтветитьThe V11 charging information is better because you can keep track of the charging while you're watching this channel on the web browser, instead of wasting an entire screen for a huge picture and a little bit of information. The old charging screen was only of use to people making charging videos,.
ОтветитьOn the US version of the Tesla website, the SR+ is just called "Model 3." The three versions are "Model 3," "Model 3 Long Range" and "Model 3 Performance."
"RWD" would be a bad choice because the first Model 3's were Long Range RWD.
Great test Bjorn! Thank you for your efforts.
Any chance of a 1000km challenge?
My Cadillac CTS can do 500 miles at 80 mph, allowing me to go from Las Vegas to LA and back without refueling. I want LiFePo for its 100% charge level without degradation, but I guess I also need a 100kWh battery with it in order to have the range I like.
ОтветитьThanks for another great update! Would love new 3 but enjoying our 3 sr+
ОтветитьHey Bjørn. Can you please make a spreadsheet of software tests? Which cars that have different features and stuff like tesla with camp mode and which software that is just fluent and very easy to use and fast to click again like Tesla. Unlike Mercedes with layer on layer to change some settings that is just super old.
ОтветитьNew interface is shittt!!
ОтветитьIoniq go home? At 90 kmh a Ioniq take around 10 kWh. M3 go home 😉
ОтветитьThe dissapointment when the Leaf droven past bjørn😅
Ответить
