I appreciate the effort, but it changes too much in many scenes. Also, a lot of textures don't fit to the environment and stand out like a sore thumb.

Have you seen the remake of Spyro series?? It puts this to shame! Legacy of Kain deserves to be completely redone, not just SLIGHTLY better texture after 20 years of advancement in technology.

We just got the Tomb Raider collection this year, So I'm pretty sure Soul reaver is not far off, And hopefully blood omen also.

Damn, I thought this is for the PC version.
Is it possible to port these textures to the PC version? To be played with the patch (the PC version with a patch is convinient for me cuz of it supports subtitles)

Why do we have to resort to an unofficial remaster on this game in a world where Rogue Trooper gets an official remaster?!? Easily one of my favorite game series of all time.

The intro movie of soul reaver was the coolest thing ever on ps1. I loved there was no handholding! Amazing music and atmosphere! Hope they release the original on modern consoles-mos importantly Switch:)

Ok so i have a problem i did everything as instructed from your manual game runs with textures and 50fps locked all the time which is good the problem is textures like items you can pick up (Torches, spears etc) enemies (not yet engaged) doors etc move visually from their place depending where my camera is. An example. Was trying to pick up a spear but i couldn't spot it on the ground after killing a vampire after i moved a bit i saw it half burried in the ground.(The item is there i can pick it up and then it renders accurate on raziels hands its just visually not there )

sorry another comment but IM very very dumb. I thought this was a download of the remake you did of the actual game. i jsut went through all the steps to get it setup and then realised the game wasnt even included! Dangit! And i only have the game for PS1 so doubt itll work on Computer :/ Sad day

Lastly, do you have any plans for remastering the 2nd game or the kain games?

I just saw the notes in the description, dude I've been waiting for so long! I'm downloading this right away and as a streamer, will try to get the word out (I'm no big time streamer, but I do it almost every day for over a year+) looking forward to playing this now so much! I would be glad if there is an installable or portable version for Windows 7 x64 where the keyboard and mouse keys are set!, I played the game from the old one on ps1 slim and then on pc.

Beautiful! Dreamcast version of Raziel looks great, glad to know LoK has such dedicated fans! I hope CD will bring Soul Reaver back like Bluepoint brought Demons Souls.

This is amazing! Just a tip for those trying this out for the first time: You can remap the d-pad to the right stick on your controller if you want to be able to rotate the camera with the right stick

Well as I've just lately discovered this series for myself and loved it it'll be my gate into this world to taste it myself personally, not via YT now. Cannot wait for this! Wish Blood Omen 1-2 got something similar. I'd like to try the entire series

I would seriously love to show appreciation for the people behind this. I have a sealed Lieutenant Raziel figure with a copy of the game mounted on my wall. Its been my living room center peice in every home iv lived in for over 20 years. Thats not a flex, I'm just in love with the franchise and as stupid as it sounds its something that's had a impact on how I live my life.

Can we use in reicast for xbox series? How put the custom textures in?

Kudos for the great work! Took me some minutes to understand what to do with the textures in Linux.
In case someone needs a direction: You need to put "texdump" and "textures" directories into: <FlyCast install dir>/data/

(as Dreamcast BIOS should be into <FlyCast install dir>/data/flycast)
