I love the understated, classy design. Looks like Sony finally got it right. I find Samsung and LG's designs relatively tacky, with too much silver for my taste.

There's no reason full array back lighting and local dimming can't be on the step down Sony Tvs. If Vizio can do it why not Sony? Oled here I come!
