ОтветитьIn my experience of living and trying to speak in 17 countries, one thing is for sure... if tou just learn or even try to speak the very basic words/phrases. Please, thank you, hello, goodbye, have a nice day etc... it literally gives you a major head start. The respect you receive , brings in the confidence in speaking certain words that you'd have a problem with otherwise. In my experience that is 🫡and this is comyfrom a person who spoke no other languages than English 😂 for some reason I can't learn from a book, but put me in the moment, and i adapted , it shocked me

15 pesos is .87 cents. 17.2 pesos is one American dollar. Learn to use exchange rates.
Ответитьthis is obviously cool because seeing people surprised by others being interested in their culture is cute. but i also think there’s something about people almost universally becoming immediately receptive to each other when they learn that they’ve got something in common (like a language). we’re a social species, after all
ОтветитьIt takes so long to become fluent, though (but you seem to be an exception). And if you have nobody to talk to in the target language, how do you become fluent at all?
Ответитьseeing someone speak my language is just so heart warming
