Restoring and upgrading 17 Inch MacBook Pro and eGPU test!

I was worried that Catarina would damage my Mac 2011late how I see it is possible without any patches. Also I noticed the GPU was up to par and didn't percent any problems

Now i had great times of using the Catalina patcher than the High Sierra since the High Sierra was 32-bit while Catalina is on first 64-bit ever run on my older Macbook Mid 2010..

It would be better if you just teardown the adapter itself...

An RX 580 should work under Catalina, I guess Dosdude’s patcher removes official drivers and only leaves patched stuff for your machine during install

Dont need an usb start disk just press Command+r at startup and you can restore vía Internet the OS

Running currently on MacOS El-Capitan and an 8GB of ram..And gets better on SSD than the stock HDD.

I install Monterey on this exact model and using it for daily office works

You shouldn't install newer mac os. It could make slow

I have the mid 2010 model with Catalina running good on an ssd. I still can't believe I found it on a pile of E Waste. I think reason they threw it in the trash was because it didn't support the latest Mac os or maybe because it was very slow. I always try to give new life to computers that a thrown in the trash by companies or random people.

Why Catalina, dude? Catalina requires a matal GPU, has this laptop got such GPU? NO, GODDAMN, NO! whoever is watching this vid, dont install anything higher than HighSierra on it!!!!!!!

Does osx set the memory frequency to the higher value inherently or do you have to do it like on a pc in the bios (since in pc’s they default to the default speed not the stick speed)
