Pedestrian dashes across traffic junction and got hit by a car

It’s ok to jaywalk. But it’s not ok to not watch out for traffic.

I support the couple . Why help??

News report more elderly casualties in traffic accident due to jaywalking. Case in point. With their stubborn nature, this is going to be a problem difficult to solve. Suggest drivers to take extra precaution. Slow down at junctions even though u have right of way. Anticipate these elderly will jump out of nowhere.

Luckily the jaywalker was a split second slower... or else it could very well have been a fatal accident, with the speed that car was going at the traffic junction.

I think the focus should be on the excellent couple(believe doesn’t have proper upbringing) whom demonstrated the saying of, “doesn’t concern me”. Hope their loved ones get into the same shit where everyone just walks pass. But kinda unlikely as not everyone is as rubbish as them.

These jaywalkers panicked when rain falls resulting in an accident. ROAD SAFETY is the number one priority. Please use your ROAD SENSE!

If I were the jaywalkers, I would rather drenched myself in rain rather than risking myself to run across the road to seek shelter. Serious injuries would lead to high compensation on the medical bills 💸💸💸. SAFETY is the number one priority regardless of when and where.

Traffic is usually low from Compassvale Cres from this direction. I guess the residents there take it for granted.
