Professor my my 3 fund portfolio: Vti ,Reet and schd
ОтветитьWhat do you think of XLK or IXN?
ОтветитьAnother awesome video!👏👏 LETS GO MR G!
ОтветитьHi! Are you Portuguese?
ОтветитьFunny. Im germany the 70% world 30% em portfolio is the standard for most or just a one etf solution like all world or acwi. Everytime I watch us content zhey dont even bother with it 😂
ОтветитьThis content is a catalyst for growth. A similar book I read ushered in a new phase of life for me. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers
ОтветитьThank you professor! Your videos are helping me learn as a newbie into the investment world. I have been searching and I am torn in between VOO and FXAIX. What are your takes on FXAIX? Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI don't understand why more people don't do this? Now that they have fractional shares this worlds financial status can totally change.
ОтветитьShout out 2 ETF girl
ОтветитьHe's assuming the past is an indication of the future.
ОтветитьI'm so diversified my head is spinning. As you have indicated, I've seen too much lost opportunity by being extremely diversified. Time to change my ways and simplify. Although, as usual, my timing will probably stink. :)
ОтветитьIt’s funny that you are quoting Warren. Do you know in Warren and Charlie’s definitions, you are also the “fake guru on the internet”.😂
ОтветитьWhich 3 ETF's would you recommend for someone within 3-5 years of retirement?
ОтветитьWhat is your opinion on VUG vs VGT? I currently have 30% of my portfolio allocated to VUG but it's overlapping VOO 54%. VGT overlap is 28% (not to mention more growth in VGT in the past). Do you hold either? Would love your opinion on if I should invest into VGT over VUG over the next 40 years. Thanks
Ответитьgreat video prof, what % of fund overlap is ok between 2 ETFs to get them both ? 20%? 10%?
ОтветитьRecency bias. Try again but go from 2000.
ОтветитьI've been holding and collecting VOO/SCHD/SCHG since I watched this video, but they keep falling down. Should I be concerned?
ОтветитьPut the rooster in the background. It’s so distracting. I feel like you’re going to knock it off the table. Or put a Portuguese flag in the background if you must express that your Portuguese.
ОтветитьIs VOO ,schd and qqq or qqqm good investments for someone in there 20’s?
ОтветитьIs IVV, QQQM & DGRO ok as a 3 fund portfolio? I am thinking of adding SCHG, as well. Thanks.
Ответитьthat Buffet clip is old...if you find any info on his recent portfolio, you can see he's pretty diversified...it all depends on where you are on your investing journey and your overall goals for your portfolio...good luck everyone
ОтветитьAs stupid as it sounds, "don't bet against the US" will only work till it won't. Every empire that was born has collapsed since, just a matter of time for the US for to follow and many would argue that the decline has started. Yet, just in case, I wouldn't bet against it either!
ОтветитьGreat video. In your opinion what is the maximum acceptable percentage of overlap between two funds? Is 30% with a growth and a value fund too much?
ОтветитьAre you from Portugal? Like your videos
Ответить👍
ОтветитьHi professor I’m currently just starting investing I make about 24k a year at the moment not done with school. If I’m doing a taxable brokerage account would these still be good to go with? I’m just a little confused because I heard etfs with dividends if you hold for long term you are taxed at a certain rate, would it still make sense for me to invest in these if they are in a taxable brokerage acc?
ОтветитьYou’re using backtesting trying to say you found the golden portfolio, what kinda professor are you?
ОтветитьFor work I only have so many options to invest in. I picked fid 500 index FXAIX and Fidelity Large Cap Growth Index Fund FSPGX. Are these too similar? I tried to do the comparison but it doesn’t work. I have them set to about 30% each and then I also chose DODGX dodge and cox since it gives me some diversification. I mainly was looking at the growth rates over decades and these are all over 10% and with low cost ratios.
Thanks hope you can help! Only 23 and I just want to figure this out and not touch it!
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Mrs Philine Weahdi🏩
ОтветитьSincerely appreciate the advice on this channel. The 3 ETF portfolio doesn't feel like gambling nearly as much as picking stocks. That means I'm way more likely to not freak out when the market dips.
ОтветитьSplg,xlv,xlk and schd.25% in each
ОтветитьSCHD/SCHG/CHILL
ОтветитьHi professor. Love your channel. I just learned about the JQUA etf, and I am researching if this is a good alternative to SPY or VOO. It would be great to get your thoughts on this. Cheers
Ответитьstupid clickbait.
ОтветитьI saw your previous video on the new 3 fund portfolio and I loved the idea of SCHD, VOO, VUG as a complete growth portfolio. I checked the overlap on VOO and SCHD and it was 54% of SCHG in VOO etc! That seems too much risk and exposure to drawdowns or a bear market. But when I viewed the overlap of SCHD with QQQ it was a beautiful 8% overlap. QQQ is the top 100 innovative and influential companies mostly technology large cap/mid cap. This works nicely with the exposure of SCHD to non-tech positions. The historical growth of QQQ + the low volatility and dividend growth of SCHD outperformed S&P 500 alone and also outperformed SCHD + VOO.
ОтветитьYou explain things so that people can understand!! It's really simple to follow your advice, and when comparing your advice to Warren Buffett, it is very similar!!! THANKS!!!
Ответить🤘☕️🤘
ОтветитьWhat about bond and treasuries ETFs ?
ОтветитьWhat if I only invested in VOO? Is that smart or should I do this 3 fund portfolio?
ОтветитьHey Prof. I’m in VOO and SCHD right now. What third ETF would you recommend for stable growth (with decent dividend yield (monthly) if possible) waiting to hear back from you 👍🏾
ОтветитьI feel stupid but I can't seem to understand what the 3 best etf is. VOO, SCHD, and what's the 3rd one? Also, What's the asset allocation? Thanks!
ОтветитьHi I watched this video so many times and didn’t get the exact 3 you recommend and the percentage for each. Can you provide that info for me please. I apologize if I miss looked this info in the video 😢
ОтветитьSpeaking of fund overlap, I've been considering a strategy that I call "indexing the indexes". Basically it's the same way market cap weighting works with stocks, except you're doing it with ETFs and weighting by AUM (assests under management). You're essentially trusting that investors as a whole know where to put their money and then just riding the wave. Thoughts?
ОтветитьGood content
ОтветитьQuestion. If a 3 fund portfolio has a lot of overlap, would it make sense to put all your money into one ETF instead of dividing it into 3 similar ETFs. Wouldn't you get the same return? And since there was little diversity to begin with, the risk is fairly similar?
ОтветитьMy 3 fund portfolio is TSLA, BTC and ETH.
Full unadulterated degen.
The Arya Stark of investing...too clever for your own good:)
ОтветитьProfessor G at what time do you make your weekly meeting? Im interested in subscribing, just want to make sure I could attend.
ОтветитьHi Professor, European 34 year old investor here. I love your videos! Do you reckon Berkshire or GOAT etf would be solid picks for the safety piece of the pie? Or would you emphasize going for a dividends ETF? Some etfs are not available for europeans unfortunately (SCHD and Vanguard high div). Would SPYD be a good alternative for the aforementioned? Also, what's your stance on Leveraged ETF's for the risky slice?
