Speed Cleaning Top Tips for 2017 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just started working for a cleaning company (first job in the cleaning industry), I’m very detailed and thorough so I produce great results but I’m slower than the others. Today was my second day so I know I will pick things up and get much faster over time but I really want to speed that process up. Thank you for the inspiration.

Another way to save time on windows or glass doors is to wipe the outside horizontally and the inside vertically, or visa verse. You know immediately which side you smudged/streaked by the way the wipe mark is.

I learned from housekeeping at a hotel, you need a process to your craziness bc it can get crazy sometimes lol but having a certain way of entering rooms and just the little things you do to ensure your work is all that matters, this job is a lot of muscle memory which also comes with time. I recommend if you are just starting try writing what needs to be done on paper or in your notes on your phone, anyway of you attempting is self beneficial and there’s no harm in taking the extra step. You need to push yourself for quality and consistency, as she says time never stops.

Here's a cleaning tip that works for me:
To clean your sponges, combine equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and warm water. Soak your sponges in this solution for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.

I learned so much from you. Thank you. I can clean an occupying apartment pretty good but I found myself moved really slow when the unit empty. Specifically when I clean behind their maintenance team. I also have a hard time cleaning a refrigerator full of pet hairs. Anyone have advices?

Tip I learned from someone I use to clean for: when your cleaning a mirror in bathroom and you get that fluff on the top by the light, turn off the light and wipe mirror the heat from the light not being on doesn’t create that fluff

I also wanted to ask you about physical pains sometimes I loose motivation becuase my right hand Huerta so much I think I have arthritis sometimes I put ice pack on or the cold gel. What do you suggest about this pls ? It’s hard to work without physical health and I want to have a cleaning business I do have other options like substitute teaching it pays well too. I already work at the school.

Ideally if you got a routine that's efficient and keep it the same every time the speed will come with time. It took me several weeks to get my system down but once I got in the same routine I saw the speed starting to come with experience.

If I may make a suggestion to help your channel, you may want to apply the same speediness to your dialogue that you clearly apply to your profession! It took like two minutes to get to the tips, and that’s an eternity for phone addicts primed to want instant gratification in all areas.
I would love to see more videos from you. I would suggest starting your videos with a QUICK “this is what I’m gonna talk about” and then bam straight into it. Just list your techniques for speed cleaning. If you can, have text graphics for each tip.

Absolutely impossible to speed clean when the customer has "100 knickknacks, pictures" and that's just in one room. Another customer was the same way. Add on a lot more time if you're bidding houses like this

What a calculation wow

As I cleaned a 4-member family flat of 3 rooms + kitchen, she thought I was slow although I worked non-stop quite quickly. I still wonder whether I was too thorough, or whether she compared to herself who knew her home's details like her own pocket, whereas I was new to it.
Another woman aid they couldn't afford me, although I only charged 16 dollars /hour, cleaning so the sweat ran down on me and there was a lot to do..
Another woman had me tell how I would improve her home, had me pick up all the stuff around the house and clean, - and then say she didn't have cash at home. I never got paid. She was training to be a psycho-therapist and thought that sounded reliable, hahaha!
How much is reasonable o charge as a private, amateur, conscientious house cleaner? I think professional ones charge more than double, and maybe I shoulod charge a bit more too. There is also my tine to get there. How do you do it, everyone?

Well shucks...... I know why to speed clean, I was looking for some tips that maybe I didn't already know like the S clean on the mirror. Maybe you could help with that? One thing that I have learned that should be obvious is always walk into a room and look at the whole job and then start from top to bottom and from left to right. That way you haven't just cleaned the stove top perfectly and realized that the range above the stove got missed and then it may drop dirt right back down on your clean stove. Or forgetting ceiling fans and cleaning a room to realize that you have to go back and do a fan which makes the dirt fall back on the clean surfaces. Those were the first things that I had to learn....the hard way. Maybe a video with those kinds of tips?
