The highway is being ‘upgraded’ after Shri Gadkariji travelled on the highway. The old road used to get destroyed every monsoon, this upgraded was long overdue, but the way it is being done - shameful! High time someone takes charge and gets things done the right way.

Who use our expressways and pay high toll taxes if the normal roads work like Highways?! That's why normal roads need to maintain poor condition!

Unbelievably pathetic state of affairs in ironically the richest city in the country. PQC roads are a sham in Maharashtra. As much as the contractors are to blame, the authorities share an equal if not more blame for failing to hold the parties accountable. But pretty sure the ministers and the babus wouldn't care much until their pockets are lined up well. We can only hope that your video doesn't fall on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Taxes like europe, facilities like africa. I spent 3 hrs in commute everyday on this road and go to office and pay GST in lacs. What a shitty condition of common people!

Even Some Village Roads are better than this one. People should raise voices against this contractor and his/her company.

Three roads heading to Mumbai from Nashik, Ahmedabad and NH-48 are in bad condition.

The contract should be terminated immediately and given to other reputed companies.

Ultimate example of waste of our tax money and absolutely ignorance towards our safety, needless to say how many have lost their lives due to this blunder. Authority should be shameful with this work

This is nothing but open naked corruption. Original Bitumen road was good. How they award Tender is really questionable? Mr Gadkari dept has ignore quality part while making or upgrading roads. They want to show only figures of no of Km road made. What about quality and reliability PATHETIC ! I wish some NGO file suit against contractors

They are just doing it till mumbai Delhi expressway completion. Post completion of expressway it wont be repaired as well

There was no need for and upgrade or downgrade. It was a beautiful road before, just a proper maintenance would have been enough!

Why TOLL is charged ? If roads are not maintained.

Since it is all made from public money, authorities should maintain a history of works done by each and every part of road construction. It should also have name of the company who got the contract for the construction. I know fraudster will have their way out of this as well. I feel helpless in my own home :(

This road was so damn good before the so called upgradation started. Pathetic work. We citizens should collectively stop paying tax because ain't getting shit for any of that tax money.

Now the same distance to travel from Mumbai to Vapi takes 8 hours this is not upgradation but down grade no proper planning and chaos Toll for the same should not be collected as your ending up paying more on fuel worst nightmare

So shameful this is ...in 2024 we are still fighting for basics in our country . Firstly there was no need to do this stupid concertisation when the old road was good enough. Also the new express way is being built so bulk of the traffic would havee moved there ...also in the portions where the road work is done it's so bad the car feels like a camel ride .
