Meanwhile, many Fil-Ams deny their Filipino heritage, let alone eat the food. They are such an embarrassment to the entire Philippines! Along with with their Filipino parent/s who did not introduce them into the culture. Its also high time that Americans (and other nationalities) get past lumpia, adobo, or pancit. Those are all too common. I admire Cardi B and Saweetie since they moved on to sinigang. I have an African-American coworker who loves pork sinigang to death. Let's also introduce other cuisines like sisig, ginataan, afritada, tocho, and bicol express. If its pancit, we should let everyone know that its not just one kind. I think most of them only think of bihon. But there's canton, miki, palabok, lomi, molo, and other regional pancit. Of course, not to be missed is my hometown's pride..pancit Malabon (or pancit luglog). Its always a hit and gone in minutes whenever I serve them to American guests.
