How the world of people has changed in such a short period. Once we used to claim that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"; A philosophical statement describing the subjective nature of the human condition. We strived to find objective truths, the universal reality of all things, yet today it is as if we must change the proverb to "Truth is in the eye of the beholder", or as Richard Bach said in his book Illusions, "And as he believed so it was for him".

I feel that most days I have far more concern for the negative impact of social change than I have about Climate Variation. Instead of looking at the big picture with clear eyes (without the rose coloured glasses) and making decisions that will make humanity more resilient to the unstoppable and constantly changing path of the universe, we have shunned the gods only to live under the fantasy of somehow being gods our selves, believing we can mold the universe according to our subjective sense of beauty and truth.

So, help me understand - excellent folks like Dr Ridd, and so MANY other qualified, reasonable people explain these verifiable facts ... yet we have unqualified overpaid lobbied MP buffoons running around with their hair on fire, throwing taxpayer money at one unnecessary scheme after another ... terrorising and compromising and ill-informed public and indoctrinating school children into this dogma ...

How is it that the fools get to keep the 'ball' in this game?

What impact do such forums have?
Are we preaching to the converted?
How do we remove the blindfolds from the self-aggrandising propagandists and actually steward the country and resources properly, without putting anyone (e.g. the farmers) in peril?

Short version: how do we get the adults into the decision-making room?

Corruption = Grifting = Doctored data. Most natural systems are cyclical & self repairing, no need for man to intervene.
