Only smart people can buy this type of vehicles. I doubt this Tech will destroy the EV industry or GAS and We are also going to need a whole new group of technicians to fix them.

Well all the lithium will be used up by 2030 so what are we going to use then because by 2040 all these electric cars won't have any batteries 😂😂😂

A scientist in wales in the 1960s developed an engine run on water and shell and BP bought the patents and hid them away because they were scared it would destroy the oil / petrol industry 😮 !

I love all the braiwashed people debunking this video with the " laws of thermodynamics" which they plainly dnt understand or dont know how to apply. Toyota may or may not be combining the existing hydrogen engine with a browns gas generator but they certainly could.

you dont need to even split the bond between the hydrogen and oxygen, you can literally just use water itself, you can literally just set up a motion like a wheel instead of a combustion engine... you dont need any chemical reaction besides maybe the salt to get the power going, then once the wheel is moving the car moves.. it's the same idea as the flour mills...

Water is a limited resource in nature. There will be a point that if hundred of thosands of cars are water powered we will run out of water. Even if we take it from the ocean.. the source will dry up. Anual rain fall is not sufficient to replenish such drainage. Sun energy is infinite.

Great, we've ruined our atmosphere so far, now we can destroy our waters too. Brilliant idea!

Scanning the video, appears to be devolving into multiple conspiracy theories, other comments are pointing out the glossing over of important issues.

These Ideas were looked at years ago but the petroleum industry countered it, to stop any progression of this simple idea witch would reduce the reliance on the oil system and curbing the money grabbing oil industry!

The only problem I can see is keeping the water from freezing in the winter. If you run out of water melt some snow and off you go. The engine runs off the hydrogen, and the oxygen (If needed) or simply releases the excess oxygen into the atmosphere. To start a hydrogen engine, all it would take is an igniter much like on your BBQ. It is not rocket science. It is a win-win.

The best thing is there is a water cycle. With the time, we'll have to pay only for the purification cost for fuel

It's not unheard of. I built an HHO generator and have run small engines with it. Also wrong, you'll still need oil for lubrication purposes. Didn't this guy do any actual research? Governments and oil companies will never allow them to be sold in first world nations because they all will lose too much money.

One point: can tap water be used, or does the water need to be distilled? How much net energy would be gained after distillation?

This kind of reminds me of the compressed air car that a French Company had developed. I actually still have a newspaper article on it. But of course the fact that almost nobody has even heard of it means either the technology wasn't feasible or it got crushed by the competion.

I met Stan Meyers in NZ many years ago. He told me the secret was NOT voltage/amperage but using the resonant frequency to break the water into H-O-H and it took very little energy to do this. He also explained how he found a way of recycling some of the "steam exhaust" back into the inlet to reduce the speed of combustion.
