Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and rehabilitation

I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was 10. It caused me a lot of trouble during the majority of my childhood, especially during school. I'm now 35 and it still causes me trouble

My child is now 7 years old. He has struggled with many things since he was a baby. I have taken him to doctors, the intermediate intervention and talked to his school about his struggles but have always been told he is just not interested, lazy, clumsy or simply not trying hard enough. He took way too long to start talking, cant jump with both feet, can't ride a bike, struggled with holding a pencil and school work ( cutting with scissors, coloring, ect), drooling, running, climbing stairs ( ladders), his arms and legs seem weak, can't tie shoe laces and struggles with zippers, potty training can still be a struggle some days, the list goes on and on. I feel alone and like my child is not being taken seriously. I can see him trying but it seems that somethings are just out of his control. Some doctors blame things on his weight but he hasnt been overweight all his life and the struggles have always been there.
