Compass Box Vellichor Blended Scotch Review: Can It Live Up To The Price Tag?

Today I am reviewing the Compass Box Vellichor Blended Scotch Whisky. The word Vellichor is used to describe the "feeling evoked by the scent of old books or paper." Compass Box Vellichor Blended Scotch Whisky was created with the hope of embodying this fragrance. Sounds like the type of Scotch Ron Burgundy would fancy? To achieve this Compass Box employed mature whiskies from Caol Ila, Macallan, Highland Park and other distilleries This Blended Scotch Whisky is Non Chill-filtered, natural colour, bottled at 44.6%. This whisky, at least in Canada is also the highest price Compass Box release yet. With such a blend of whiskies, and a price tag to match, a lot would be expected from this whisky.
