i would of appreciated the use of math to prove the, 0.3, i dont understand how the ability to force makes it less likely to have a bomb

so generally speaking, if I place a bomb in a guessing spot such that it reveals a lot of logic, it is a bad move?

Why are many forced moves an indicator that something is wrong? There are many open positions, why is it not just at consequence of that?

I've had one position where I was able to chord off a 7, that's gotta be rarer than an 8

I’ve never used this intuition in normal minesweeper but there’s a different version on puzzle madness where it becomes very apparent that the square with the least impact on the rest of the puzzle is often the one to pick. If you haven’t tried that version I recommend it. With that version you solve it like sudoku, filling out the whole board without knowing if you’re right until the end

Theoretically wouldn't the percentages be calculated by considering all possibilities of placement in the remaining tiles, then just tallying what percentage of them each spot was a hit?

Who plays minesweeper like that though? You could have worked out those bomb positions by any number of tiles and you wouldnt need to guess at all
