Which part of your forehand do you want to improve the most?

Very nice to see that first the shoulder moves followed by the hips rotating and then the hand before impact. Helps keep this in mind while on the court

Simon i am so confused about your grip. I have watched almost all of your videos. In some of them you go with an eastern but then i saw one that you said you switch to SW. What is you grip now? If it is SW indeed, can you provide a link which shows that? Thank you for your great content!

is this correct, there's not much racket lag in the motion, but wow!! that's power in the racket head speed!

Looks like the keys to proper forehand form are elbow separation from the body when starting the unit turn and elbow extension at the end of the backswing. This creates 2 very important things. One is, it creates a lever with the shoulder as the fulcrum. This arm as a lever action delivers power through the swing into the shot. Two is, the full arm extension also creates a natural lag of the wrist which further contributes to swing power by creating a whip-like motion of the racquet, through the wrist, across the ball. Another key swingpath tip I've learned lately and begun to practice is to stop trying to hit "through the ball" and instead aim to hit "across the ball" with a slightly upward arcing, windshield wiper motion that both lifts the ball over the net and imparts topspin. Visualizing hitting "across the ball" at the contact point rather than "through the ball" is a key to hitting a heavier ball. When you watch Simon's video above closely, you'll see he's doing exactly what I describe.

could you please explain if your right hand elbow should always "seeing" the opponent at the follow through ? do you think this is important?

you kind of stop between pat the dog and wrist lag position. shouldn't it be continuous motion

Love the proof that rec players can produce heavy spin without a sw or greater grip. So many online are convinced its necessary. Great ball!
