Now, that's what you call dedication 🐐
ОтветитьYou have impeccable taste, Tom. Forrest Gump is my favourite movie.
ОтветитьReally funny video. thanks for this!
Ответитьglad babas mama, leut dan and forrest are billionaires now
ОтветитьLove it mate, Im a big fan of Forrest Gump, its right up there at the top of the list, there are quite a few life lessons that we can learn from old Forrest.
Anyway I got to shoot off, I need to watch Forest Gump again lol.
Forest Gump can’t be replaced, best movie
ОтветитьGood work 😄
Ответить"And so then I got a call from him saying we don't have to worry about money no more."
That joke is even funnier now since people in 1994 thought Apple was done with it's high growth phase.
What's the apple return from the movie was released until today?
ОтветитьIronically, a lot of the set up work (when Forest was "buying") the entire process of putting your company on the market would have happened on paper. Incl wartime investment (postal delay), they about nailed it.
ОтветитьThis is the content I didn't know I needed
ОтветитьTaking this one step further... If you took this stock tip on the day the movie was released and invested $100k, you would have nearly $52m (plus dividends!).
ОтветитьDiamond hands Gump!
ОтветитьLieutenant Dan’s investment results were quite satisfactory.
ОтветитьThe lesson: Focus investing, concentration. Pabrai use the same Forest Gump example 🖤
ОтветитьReally enjoyed that, just some fun cheers
ОтветитьA different kind of video. Nice. One of my favorites too. 👍
ОтветитьThis was great Tom Hanks. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat videos, Forrest Gump, and yours ;). Please don‘t forget that, for my understanding, he gave half of his fortune to Babba‘s family?

ОтветитьForrest Gump is one of the only old legendary movies that I haven't seen. I must have a watch now :D
ОтветитьGump a better investor than Buffett is what I got from this video
ОтветитьTurned out to be the right fruit company!
ОтветитьInteresting video. However I don’t think it’s entirely accurate. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Forrest give half of his money to Bubba’s mom? Forrest and Bubba agreed that they’d split everything 50/50 once they started their business. In the movie, Forrest tells the lady on the bench that (I might be paraphrasing) “Even though Bubba was dead and Lt. Dan thought I was nuts, I gave Bubba’s mama his share.” Now, I don’t know if that was just the Bubba Gump Shrimp money, which I think already made Forrest rich, or if that included the Apple money too. If it also included the Apple money, then wouldn’t Bubba’s mom and Forrest each own about $29 billion worth of Apple today, not including dividends?
ОтветитьGo Lieutenant Dan !
Ответитьi have 3 apple shares
ОтветитьLike the way you pronounce "eeenveeestment" & "sheeers".
ОтветитьSo what is Bubba's mom worth?
ОтветитьThe Blizzard of 77 made a brilliant scapegoat of backdoor line install.
ОтветитьBefore Lt. Dan handed over the $100k check he reminded them of how important socks are.
ОтветитьYou missed the most important part.
Lt Dan set DRIP on....now do the calculation again😅
Funny collection of typing mistakes in this letter – which surely (if anything like this really existed) didn't go to F. G. alone.
ОтветитьThanks for doing the work I always wondered how much the apple investment was worth. Bubbas family was well taken care of
ОтветитьBe sure to share this video with all of the Forrest Gump fans out there!
