I will never forget the first episode of mythbusters I watched, it was the one about "find a needle in a haystack". Does anyone know in which season/episode is that?

I'm not saying that an RPG would flip a SUV but the test here was also doomed to fail from the beginning. Head on collision to the front of the car would not flip anything. You need to impart upwards momentum. And the front of a SUV is a particularly heavy part of the car due to the engine block. I'm truly curious what would have happened if the explosin happened at the wheels. The asphalt would reflect a bigger portion of the shockwave and you have a bigger "lever" to the engine block/center of mass.

Seeing them be absolutely delirious with excitement and adrenaline for one of the coolest things I've seen on Myth busters was so wholesome. It just carved right through the cars with no effort.

The truck splitting i remember from my olden days. I was just a kid and i was impressed. And also, i had goals. Now i have not. And a policeman stole a hundred dollars from me. Should of tested with hands on the glass too, that would of been interesting to see how a person holds and whether or not can withstand the impact, would they still be holding glass or would they of let go at the last second.

RPG has different warheads: HEAT, tandem HEAT, HE, thermobaric... And I'm pretty positive none of them would flip the car

I hope they didn't base the RPG vs SUV one on Fast Five. Because the fired the rpg's directly at the vehicles, while in Fast Five, the rpg's hit the ground beneath the vehicles. If they didn't notice that, they must be blind.

Did anyone else miss the part where they said the glass holding guys in the original myth, were in-fact naked?

I loved this show when I was 12/13.. Re-watching 20 years later has me picking up on a lot of basic flawed experimental practices.

My predictions (been a long time since I saw this):
Laminated glass - it is does not break, it will be violently ripped from your hands resulting in possible cuts and broken bones.
The tempered glass will not cause huge lacerations, but many small pinpricks.
The standard glass is a bunch of flying daggers and you are likely to lose a finger or a thumb.

That wedge should be installed in all emergency-vehicles so people would finally learn to leave a rescue-lane on the autobahn!

Did they get into consideration the glass movers cloths.

On the glass myth, the plate glass only caused injuries at leg level. Chances are the workers would be working jeans or canvas work pants, which would probably prevent the injury shown. I would imagine that holding the glass would create a much higher risk to arms though, almost too bad they didn't have jelly arms as well.

This is the best thing I've seen them do. Awesome!

As a Glazier I could’ve told you that would happen. I’ve got the stitches to prove how sharp those little pieces of tempered glass are!

The entire point of the rpg is that it blows up underneath the vehicle, causing the flip.
They didn’t test it even remotely right
