BEST OF SAMBO

I named my dog Sambo and everybody gives me a hard time about the racial aspect but I don’t care

seems like a great martial art in my opinion, aggresive, contains takedown and grappling, basically like MMA, seems like a bit different takedown here resemble Judo more than BJJ

I get the feeling most of the UFC is based on sambo because of its natural mix of boxing/wrestling and martial movements

I have a competition in ten days and I’ve only trained BJJ (gi and nogi) but I feel like it can be enough

Punch like boxing.. kick like taekwondo.. take down like sambo and submit like BJJ!

I don't really get it. Sometimes they're throwing punches and then in others it looks like they're just hand fighting like it's exclusively grappling.
Anyone wanna clear that up for me?

This is THE toughest grappling martial art of them all and I would never want to fight with anyone who dose this and that comes from a muay thai practitioner. I have much respect for sambo.
