More confused after than before

And what if we are recording 1/50 shutter speed and iso is the lowest which is 100 and we want to aperture at 5.6 but getting over exposing video?

I do understand the concept but when recording video... and you shooting a subject that moves ... you will have to adjust exposure right while filming ? is there another way to do it automaticly?

Caleb! How do I set my exposure display on my canon 80D?? Were slowly but surely trying to show in manual. But are having trouble setting our iso. We use auto most of the time because we vlog and always going from outside to inside. But we cant seem to find what works best for inside our home. HELP lol

Slowly but surely coming out of the novice state of videography. Or at least I thought I was. I still have a 5d3. I just learned that when one uses a waveform monitor, things should generally be within the 80-20 range. so that it gan be graded reliably in post. Can anyone direct me to info about that? Are there other similar numbers for a histogram. Especially for the 5d3.

Very easy to understand. But what about ND-filters if you won't or can't ajust aperture/ISO down?
