When the price comed down a bit I'll bite. $1800? No.

I bought one. But kept returning to iphone. I think pixel fold is redundant due to the cover screen ratio like a normal phone. Its not worth it. Went for fold5. Thats what a fold is.

Samsung is no match when come to software, you can resize the app easily and put it into any kind of aspect

I'm torn. I just got the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5...I LOVE that the Pixel Fold has a much bigger screen on the outside whereas the Z Fold has a more narrow screen which is small width wise. However, I do NOT like the bezels on the Pixel...love that there's very little bezel on the Z Fold 5...I'm not sure if I should should return my Z Fold and get the Pixel Fold or just keep the Z Fold and wait until I need to upgrade again to get whatever Pixel Fold is out in a few years.. I've never had a Google Pixel before either so I'm not 100% on how Google is with phones

Another thing from this review, is the fact is that it gets hot and worsens the battery. Crazy, I guess I'll wait until I need to upgrade my Z Fold to grab a better Google Pixel Fold

The criticism im seeing and maybe u mentioned it and i missed it is that it's hard to get it to lay completely flat, or it feels like you have to stress it.

Love my pixel gold but the software is complete crap. Google was plain lazy. Look at the multitasking features built into every other foldable. Like the fold 5 and the oppo and the honor or any of them. The multi tasking is 10 levels above what my fold is. Also not even letting me set up 2 different hole screens between the outside and inside is absolutely ridiculous. Cool hardware but runs warm all the time. Why do I need to turn off 5g to not get hot?… but even then the software is the biggest issue. Needs some serious work

I hate google but I love this phone. I wish they would use more durable hardware though. Stainless steel frame is very necessary. Titanium would be best.

I have a Samsung galaxy 4 flip
. Which has been great to a point, sometimes laggy. People often question screen life due to folding. As a person with MS, I counter that because of folding, the screen is most often protected from drops. I cannot count how many replacements would have been needed. Screen protection is unreliable on a good day.

The bezels don't bother me because it actually gives you a place to put your thumbs when holding the phone for a more secure hand-held experience. I don't feel like I'm going to drop the phone.

I have a Google pixel Pro 7 and I'm waiting for my Google pixel fold to arrive. The seven was my first venture into the pixel universe and I love it.

I love mine, the battery is actually not that bad. Front screen is USABLE! Perfect size, perfect form factor. Quality is top notch. Camera really is amazing. I can’t believe how bright the display is as well.
Googles first attempt at a folding phone, knocked it out of the park. Phenomenal device

When everybody has sunglasses on why does it matter where they are looking?

These pixel folds are gonna look jjjaaannky after a year or two. Those huge shiny bezels and the scratch magnet of a camera bar are two things that a $1800 phone is gonna struggle to justify. Samsung hardware can look nearly flawless years later

In my workflow, The Samsung Fold is nicer (when opened), especially with the S pen. But even though I bought the Samsung but I never really carried it in my pocket. I tried and felt it wasnt usable (for me). The Pixel although not as good in specs will fit "ok" in my pocket, hence I use it day to day. Hence the Pixel is (too me) an acceptable compromise. A phone with lesser specs that is usable is better than a phone with great specs that isnt usable. My Samsung Fold stays at home. My P Fold stays in my pocket.

As much as it pains me I have an ever growing desire for Chinese brands to release globally because hardware wise they’re just pushing the boundaries while Samsung feels it’s ok to do small changes and Google can release a phone that would get laughed at in china given it’s price for how many compromises it has

Ppl talk about the bezels but like u get a perfect screen for viewing movies and even just split screen. I can't complain I love my fold.

I'm so done with Google, my pixel 7 pro is crap, laggy, crashes, overheats. Too many problems with it. I'm ready to switch to iPhone, again. And I guess I'll get tired, again, of iPhone, because you can't configure crap.

And this Pixel phone are not that great it's just waste of your money Goole is actually a software company not hardware but they are doing for some reason but iPhone and Samsung Galaxy s Series and z series are the market kings iPhone is better when you have iPhone ecosystem and Samsung Galaxy is best when you have Samsung Ecosystem both devices work incredibly to each other Samsung is like iPhone but with different user interface it's amazing so Pixel phone are not great they're not durable I mean no compare to a Samsung fold

wish I could buy it. Sadly Sweden don´t get it and to buy from Germany feels not good if anything happens and the insurance need to kick in etc.

Phone brands need to double charge the apps if they don't create a Foldable app version. So if they are charged 20% to be in Google Play Store or Apple App store or Samsung Play store, they need to be charged 60% just to have their app be allowed to be seen. Because they shouldn't be so Lazy. Some apps get it right and a few like Instagram don't even try! Facebook is full screen on Google Pixel Fold. Just to let those know who are on the fence.

The Google Pixel Fold is the Best Foldable phone I have ever owned. And I owned all of the Z Folds except 1 & 5.

I never had any issue with my pixel fold,never overheated,the battery is very good and the camera is excellent.all the bs and backlash i listened on social media to push people not buy it ,that wasnt true.its the perfect phone for me ,better design.much compatible and comfortable to typehandwritten.thanks google for your great work.

Yes I love mine after having my Z Fold 3 for 2 years on the shelf now. Love how more useful it is with Android 14 beta battery life is awesome.

I have a Google Pixel. If you want to optimise your Fold, go into Settings, System, Developer Options, and then search for "Force Activities to be Resized." This will force Split Screen capability on and Pixel phone.
