As someone who works in Aviation, we don't f around when it comes to torque wrenches! I don't even know how expensive ours are and I don't want to find out!
Also that was painful to watch you guys toss the 2 remaining ones back and forth! I literally yelled out, "Whelp, that's gotta go back to the tool room!" 🤣
The accuracy of calibration know how is just top notch.

ОтветитьThe tool trucks are always a better option. Most trucks try to have something paid in 6-10 weeks or more. The truck guys are usually really understanding with payments. Sometimes you can’t always make one or the full weekly amount you promised. Harbor freight, while cheaper, you still have to pay the full amount at once, or put it on a credit card that can hurt your credit score, or just add to your total usage. Pick the truck brands. Warranty is never hassle like with box stores, and if you’re out of a warranty they’ll usually work something out with you to get your tool fixed or replaced.
ОтветитьCant stand any ratchets besides my koken and snapon. Im getting out of the trade but those 2 brands are the fastest, strongest, and best looking in my opinion
ОтветитьLittle known facts about torque wrench, 1. You have to adjust from min to max specs back and forth on handles 3-5 time before out of box use to “calibrate” the adjuster in the handle to ensure proper function, 2. Most manufacturers, if they haven’t done this off production line, recommend a 300 click break-in before use, on min to mid to max specs, to ensure proper calibration of the the tool, as you can see in the video where the tolerance of + or - 4% became to spec after extended use
Ответитьso, what im hearing is torque wrenches actually get better with use instead of worse.... well, time to buy that 60 year old torque wrench at the pawn shop for 20 bucks.
ОтветитьBest 45$ spent lmao
Ответитьwhen you started trowing the torque wrenches around not gonna lie that hurt too watch hahahahah but love the content
ОтветитьExpensive is not always better.
ОтветитьThere is absolutely no need for anyone to buy a $450 torque wrench! Any tool that I have fail on me was when I was using it beyond its intended purpose. Even if the testing results are accurate can someone give me a scenario where the torque values for the lesser wrenches will cause an issue? No wheels are falling off, head gaskets leaking, etc with these small amount of variances. Everything is designed with a 5-10% +/- tolerance so you’ll be fine.
ОтветитьI somehow can't see anyone else that have pointed it out, but you absolutely cannot average the results like that. You must average the deviation, not the measured torques (unless you are testing for something called linearity, but you're probably not). You can see how the percentages gets closer to zero when you measure over more results. It would be better to just use one torque result and not average if you are going to do it like that.
Otherwise great video ofc. :)
You need a portable bullet proof glass or plexiglass wall to protect the bystanders and camer person like Myth busters used.
Protect that young camera guy boys.
i use tekton which looks the same as the epauto, i like the double click but a flex head and more teeth would be nice. i’ve noticed the handle can spin a little on mid torque because i held with 1 hand, the screw unlock has to be very tight to hold it in place.
the icon got thrown at the ground and the cheaper was only dropped, so that could be why it was worse.
Should test durability and precise
ОтветитьAnd implied universal import before a government structure, idk challenged, anyway not my fault galactus.:/:(
Ответить:55 could’ve been 12 years ago and so near a spider.
Ответить:011 why there voices keep telling me to do so, chill them out.
ОтветитьDisappointed that the snapon didn’t even have the angle indicator gauge at $450…
ОтветитьHow unfair, HZ [Hazet] tools were not in the game hehe. Cool video!
ОтветитьHow did I get a tire add with donut on a donut vid?
ОтветитьI paid 12 bucks for a Pittsburgh at harbor freight😂😂😂
ОтветитьBought an EPauto because of this. Ran it at 90 for 200 clicks. Works great. Thanks guys
Ответитьsnap-on more like snap off
