If you disconnect the battery, won’t all the settings be reset to factory? Ie. radios, seats, comfort settings, etc?

Why did you disconnect the battery? I know you should cover the alternator as best as you can other than that your the first to say disconnect the battery. Just wanna know your reason behind it?

You never mentioned about addressing the battery and thermals cleaning them. Also spraying the thermals with corrosion of battery acid that can developed!!!!

glad i spent the time watching a video on "deep cleaning" and "complete engine bay detailing" to find that you half-assed because it "wasnt the expectation".. based off the video name it very much was the expectation.

Brake cleaner and a brass brush would have fixed it where you left crap on.

It's weird to me to see water spraying into an engine bay as for some reason I think it would harm the engine. That being said, I don't know anything about detailing cars. Do you have a list of preferred tools and cleaning agents? I just got a new to new car and I'd like to keep it cleaner than I have my previous vehicles.

I've seen videos of people using tire foam, your thoughts?

Id rather choose this than a dirty bay as long as the payment is fair. Anyways you did a wonderful job. Still you can't make it brand new when it's used.

I have purchased several of your brushes for my detailing on my car. Not very grimy jobs for me and your brushes look like new. But watching this, I'm curious how you clean these brushes when they were so greasy?

The amount of water you sprayed directly onto the coil packs and leads scares me.

That was real aggressive with drill brush I dont think this guy was expecting to eat dinner out oh his engine bay but if you feel safe doing it good for you

For your foam cannon, do u have soap mixed with the degreaser or is it just degreaser that you sprayed on it?

Dry ice does the best job.

Nice job! but consider using a battery powered leaf blower to dry. My Hitachi gas powered blower would blow unburned gas & oil onto the surface.

If you don’t have a leaf blower, can you just let it air dry?

Unless you like spending five hours replacing your knock sensors on your Chevy V8 you probably shouldn’t be doing this !

Hmmmm, I'm not sure. Modern cars have a lot of control units in the engine bay. I can't imagine it's a good idea to submerge the engine bay in water like that.

It’s complicated! Is a lot of water filtering in small components, sensors, etc… what the real purpose of clean your engine?

Way to much work dude 😎......if you're doing this for a living, get your self a small power washer. Don't know what you're charging for this detail, but time is money 🤑....

Use a small wire brush on the dirty looking metals it’ll get them lookin new

I'm not sure the ICE leaf blower was a wise choice. It spit more oily smoke than everything else. maybe an electric one?

Hey Mitch, any pointers on how to clean an old carburetor engine bay safely? And can you do an episode on that please?
I have an old 1987 Chevy Caprice with a filthy engine bay and the carburetor is my main concern.

I was always hesitant to wet a motor, whether via a “chassis bath” at a car wash, or cleaning it like this when very hot, with the fear of causing metal warping or cracks (exhaust manifold) due to putting cold water on a piping hot motor or arcing my ECU and shorting it out.

Why are you breathing heavily while brushing? That's worrying.

If u put it hose nozzle on mist, you can keep it wet while ur working. If it's taking too long.
