My native is near Rajahmundry, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. I want to share you an interesting topic about a Fish called Pulasa which is mainly available in river Godavari. Basically this fish swims against the tide from the Bay of Bengal and gets into the river Godavari. This fish costs very high and super delicious due to its struggle from salt water to sweet water.

THEY WERE POLITICALLY SEPARATED FOR ECONOMICAL GREED. ANDHRAPRADESH THE STATE WHICH WAS FORMED BY SRI POTTI SRIRAMULU GARU'S SACRIFICE BY FASTING TILL DEATH. THE STATE WAS REORGANIZED (NOT SEPARATED) FROM TAMILNADU (MADRAS PRESIDENCY - BRITISH PROVINCE) (ANDHRA NAADU) ON 30'NOVEMBER 1953.

Quick history lesson : andhra tribe people ( telugu speaking people ) they travelled from north of Vindhya range from banks of yamuna and travelled dakshinapatha ( sowthward ) and settled near godavari and krishna ruver region and established their kingdoms their. Over time many people ruled over these lands in medieval india nizam invaders took control over andhra desam by overthrowing kakatiyas and after british invasion part of the andhra was ceded to british ( present day andhra ) and part of it was controlled by nizam ( telangana part ) and after independence in 1947 the british controlled part was in madras presidency then potti sri ramulu fought for seperate state for telugu speakers and went on fasting strike and died after 40 or days in 1953 after his death andhra was recognized as a seperate state. And after operation polo hyderabad state ( telengana ) was integrated with andhra and formed andhra pradesh but after few years people in telangana region started protests for seperate region and in 2014 telangana and andhra divided into two states. [ fun fact : first indian state is a telugu state andhra in 1953 and youngest indian state is also a telugu state telangana in 2014. ]
