This film is made for the second category.
It was such a slow-placed movie. But every second was so worth it. Incredible movie. Highly recommended !!!

this movie was fuckin great, loved every minute of it. Quentin sure knows how to make them.

Anyone notice this movie is like the game TTT (Trouble in Terrorist Town)? I mean you got a bunch of people who may or may not be the bad guys who may or may not be telling the truth of who they are or lying their asses off and only the bad guys (terrorists) know who really are the bad and good guys. AND people are being killed but no one (the good guys) know who's doing it and are trying to figure that out.

Seen it and it was great! My only pet peeve was Tatum Channing. No offense to Channing fans but I honestly do not think the guy is a good actor. Imo, he seems to be getting roles for his looks more than his acting and I think Tarantino knows this but was probably pushed to include Channing into this film hence him having a very VERY small role and brief appearance compared to the other main cast members.

Saw hateful 8 and it was awful. I like django, like Tarantino, yada yada. This movie was shit.

IMHO, just like his other period features this film is incongruous. Some brilliant scenes, good acting, great cinematography and direction but ultimately disappointing because of a number of absurdities (certain dialogue being one) that spoil the overall story and Western genre. Tarantino has created his own genre which only ever works fully and completely in contemporary settings.
