How do i decide which deity to worship!

My kuladevta is Kaatazhagar, form of Shree Krishna. His temple is in Shenbagathoppu, Tamil nadu.

When I was 13 I went to swim with my neighbors, the wife and 3 kids. The husband was at the riverside fixing up a 🚢, he didn't know I was there.
We began to play, me and the kids. I accidentally slipped into a drop off , this is at the head of the island where water flows into the entire island 🏝. The island is named Wakenaam and found in South America.
I tried to tell the kids I was can't swim and they thought I was joking because we were playing. They were laughing, I couldn't feel the ground beneath my feet any more as I was swept with the current , that time all the kids were trying to save me also and the mom. They all got swept in the current. The youngest of the 3 kids, had a stutter and couldn't speak well. So he ran to his father who was blocked by a 🚢, to tell him we were drowning.
The mother could have swam a bit and saved herself.
During this time, im still in the water panicking and sinking faster. The last thing I saw was the girl and her father saving her the current had swept her to the bushes on the river banks.
I went down.
Just like u see in the movies.
I stopped fighting.
As I was going down, it started to feel cold. Images of my life flashed before my eyes. I saw my mother, my family. I saw my mother crying over my body.
There were flashes of me.
After the flashes were over, my and it was all peaceful, my mind was fixated on Lord Krishna. I wasn't always a stanch hindu. But I did choose him in my earlier years going to 🛕.
It was dark and all I saw was Lord Krishna in my mind. I told him I wasn't ready to leave as yet. And I wanted to see more of earth and I promise to pray and worship him. I told him I wanted a chance to live.
Right after that, I felt something grabbed my hair from above and dragged me to the banks of the river.
I threw up water, eyes red and in shock.
It was the father, he saved me.
I asked him if he knew I was there he said no. After he saved his daughter. He saw something [the ends of my hair in the water].
So, this is my encounter. It has changed me so much. I always keep Krishna in my heart.
I have endured alot in my life , but I believe he has somehow given me the will to go on though everything. 🙏✨️

I saw god vishnu idol as a kid in dream it was a huge black stone carved Vishnu vigraha..he was vertical with his head resting on one hand..huge water falls behind the vigraha..and 3 doors in front.. pandit ji were performing puja..i have never been to such vishnu temple..and when i was small we used to worship ganapati,lord shiva and Krishna

I requested krishna to come in dreams i want to see him. I truly got him in my dreams, along with him he took radha maata also. I felt them both and i had smell of krishna. It was combination of lotus and jasmine. But i could not aee his face clearly but he wore yellow golden dothi and flowers on his head. Radha maata wore white patti dress with flowers tied on hair. I truely felt krishna' s existance. Very happy to see him. Daily i think of that dream again and again.

FYI: Shrimad bhagvatam is different from bhagvad gita.

This happened to me also that I started Vishnu upasana and after a period I was attracted to Maa durga, now doing upasana of both of them. I dont know why this is happening. May be because both of them are like two sides of a coin.

Should women chant/pray during menstruation?

Hi...I have a suggestion or u might say a correction in the editting part..Sir mentions about Bhagwatam in the later half of this clip...which he asks to do the 7 days upasana. Bhagwatam is the story of Krishna from his childhood and to know who he really is while BhagvatGita is a preaching by Krishna to Arjuna. Pls note this, as in the editting part you have mentioned about Gita and not the Bhagwat Puran. Radhe radhe❤
