How often to you freshen Sierra's sunscreen? and how many hours in a day would you say she is in direct sunlight versus below? I plan to be on a boat with a new little one for weeks at a time next year, but I'm concerned about soft skin and too much chemicals/UV causing harm accidentally.

In my experience,babies and dogs love flying (single engine aircraft pilot). By extension, l can't imagine babies wouldn't love sailing, especially when their caregivers (parents) communicate the joy they feel when sailing.

Nugget is so cute! I think you guy's are onto something! Raising a baby at sea has got to be a chore, and a half. At the same time I can imagine all she will learn, and how helpful this will be for early development of coordination. Do you plan on home schooling her?
