In one of your shorts you mentioned you worked with insurance companies during college to make extra money? You’re a money man. You like making money. You like talking about money. Well it makes sense that you have friends that hate being doctors. Your passion is money. Your friends are probably the same. Nothing wrong with that but doctors that advocate for their patients know all too well what a struggle it is to get the insurance companies to agree.

You would think they’d agree with the doctor since well… they’re the doctor… but no in America insurance companies apparently have a medical license to practice 🙄🙄🙄. Doctors that thrive in medicine, from a patients perspective, do not agree with a lot of the decisions made by the insurance companies. They also speak down to doctors that quit and go work for the insurance companies. They’re traitors to the profession that at the end of the day is about their patient’s wellbeing. Because you’re right if you want to make MONEY MONEY you’re not going to do it in medicine. You’ll make a lot of money but you won’t be able to have much time for side hustles and others things you may want to invest time into. It won’t be impossible but it will definitely be harder than just being an entrepreneur.

My family had a relative who was a doctor.He went out on his boat and was never seen again. Guessing he jumped over....😢 ( this was many many years ago)

It is important to take care of your health and set boundaries and search for a job that meets your needs.

A lot of doctors should not have become doctors because they have no empathy and are terrible human beings and only did it for the money.

I can't imagine choosing to be a brain surgeon for example at 18/19 yrs old then having g to commit the next decade to studying, accumating 6-figure debt, and basically feeling like you're trapped in a career that you only learn how much you dislike it by spending so many years in school. The problem is money they worry more on debt which their only option is to make it.

How do you pick your specialty? Surgeon?Physician? Practitioner etc? If I start at 22 can I still be one (as in do I have to do another 4 years bachelor+4 year’s meeting school +further training on top of my music degree that I have now?)

Biology is definitely my passion and medicine as well so im actually having a lovely time as a med student. But most definitely do not choose this path because of the money especially if youre not passionate about biology

I hate videos like this. I’m a physician who ONLY did it for the money and I’m extremely happy. This is total MIS guidance for younger viewers. Once you’ve experienced poverty, you’ll understand that it doesn’t really matter what you’re “passionate” about, only what makes you money with reasonable hours.

People become doctor to earn money, that is primary goal, passion about it secondary, no other service job pays as good as medicine.
In India everyone is trying to become a doctor from numerous medical colleges as it is ticket to better lifestyle and opportunity to move to western nation.
Stress that comes with medical job is nothing compared to when you don't have money and have to degrade yourself to just do anything to earn just enough to survive.
