The Truth about the Kyoto Animation Arson Attack

This wasn't stated in the video but do you ever wonder why so many KyoAni series have a female lead instead of a male lead that so many other animes have? It's because KyoAni is known for hiring women. Take a look at Haruhi Suzumiya, Violet Evergarden, Lucky Star, K-On!, Sound! Euphonium, and Dragon Maid. KyoAni was known to celebrate their women. Before the attack, they had twice the number of female animators than male animators which is crazy to see in such a male dominated field. In an industry that can be so grueling such as that of animation, where animators are sometimes overworked and underpaid, Kyoto Animation was the opposite. They treated their workers well and they were well paid. It was everyone's dream job. It's so sad that for some of them, it had to end this way.

I just learned about this and Im just shocked! How did I never hear about this in the past? I feel like I'm far too late to try to show my respects to this, but still, this is awful

So sad. I have watched a lot of animation and it seems that KyoAni has produced most of my favorite amines. Amines that just have something special about them.

It still a 2 years ago and I'm listen this today and I'm about to cry -

I can't believe it's been 2 years.. feels like only yesterday I saw the news online.. when I rewatch disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, I remember the incredible talents that spearheaded such a masterpiece, all lost in this arson..

Despite all of the tragedy of 2020 and 2021 I still remember this and it still hurts..

I know im late but thank you KyoAni for making the best shows and movies, rest and peace

I just finished K-on! and I really enjoyed it as I was looking up stuff more stuff about it because I loved it so much, then I heard this news. I am very sorry to all the people hurt in this event and I hope they can all recover well

It's such a shame that this has happened. Dragon Maid is my favourite anime. And it's upsetting to know there studio was destroyed, let alone the amount of deaths there were. Its so upsetting this occurred.
I hope everyone is doing okay there.
