Absolutely loved the 2nd house they viewed, but as soon as the 1st one cropped up, I knew Kirstie would lose. If you can get that kind of house for significantly less budget, why wouldn't you? Not to mention the fear of the roadway, I'd have bolted the moment that news came in.

Please explain to me how they have all that land for animals but the dogs are in cages????????

I wish we could have seen their new home and land, as well as learn about the sale of their old home. I feel sort of adrift.

This new road is such an unlucky thing. That said, even with working from home, they are only 3 people. What would they do with 6 huge bedrooms and so many reception rooms as shown in house n°1 ?

I love the couple but this episode is such a waste of time. Lol..
First of all, Kirstie’s plan could have been scaled down to just reconfiguring the existing house without adding another floor. By just rearranging their existing floor to give it a more organized/functional layout. But to renovate only the bathrooms is such a lazy decision!
And in the end, they moved somewhere without even showing where it is!

Moving is such a huge upheaval in people's lives that I'm not surprised if people end up staying after renovations. They must feel like they've gone through so much upheaval and turmoil and stress living with renovations that they just want to settle down and enjoy their house - not pack it all up and move to another place. I think unless they have a very strong reason to move - they can afford something closer to their dream after selling the renovated house; they totally fall in love with another place; they have family or work in another place; their current area is starting to decline, etc. - they aren't going to move any time soon after a huge renovation.

Good show, but tbh I don't understand the timing. By the time they would have had their house renovated, the houses that Phil showed them would have been off the market by then, no? Help me out here! Thanks for the upload.

Bit disappointed we didn't get a glimpse of the new abode - or at least the location. I love The Borders... I don't know how they lived with those difficult bathroom & no laundry room for all that time, yet no expense sparred on the horses, & I love horses, too. Loved house #1. Hope Phil & Kirsty get to revisit this series.

Can't believe that they didn't rearrange the living space instead of doing the bathrooms! I wonder what Hillary would have suggested with the original 70 K budget? They didn't really need to build up. They are already very busy with animals and toddler. Who's going to clean and maintain a huge house? They could have had live-in help in tbe annex of the first house and negotiated a long term land lease for extra acreage. She's an investment broker and he is in insurance, surely they vould persuade a landowner? Sad we don't get to see the house they end up with. TFS
