I really enjoy videos like these. Seeing you try out different game frameworks like this, really motivated me to try some of them out. If I had to suggest one for another video, Haxe Flixel could be a cool one to try out.
Ответитьraylib is not fricking low level! SDL2 loading images: IMG_Load,CreateTextureFromSurface,FreeSurface, raylib: LoadImage()
ОтветитьGreat 👍..........
NOW DO IT IN OPENGL......
What program are you using to make your graphics?
ОтветитьMore games in Raylib please! Liked and subbed!
Ответитьthis is cool, but i think the value comes from sticking to something.
would love to see you spend a week or two working on the foundation for a larger scale game and post it here, if you like it you can keep working on it :)
damn, good stuff
ОтветитьRaylib is also good, but I personally prefer SDL2 because my philosophy "less is more"
if you only have C you're mostly turing complete and you can port your program to any system but you lack fancy graphics, if you use SDL2 you got portable graphics and sound and much more it's already enough! it's so lightweight not so much a pain to setup.
C = turing complete
C + SDL2 = more than turing complete
it's great! it's low level and I just love it, it feels good
SDL2 is also more matured, and I just prefer documentation style of SDL more, I'm thinking about upgrading to SDL3 though, but here's the thing "you don't need to" you can even use SDL1.0 if you want
Good work man !
If you are confortable with Rust you should check Bevy !
I use CachyOS/KDEPlasma/Wayland and I played around bouncing ball example with raylib5.5 but I have a problem when switching from window to fullscreen then back to window. I think there is some glitch with GLFW/Wayland; I also use Wayland not X11. I am also looking into lua/love2d and it works fairly well and easy; just not too familiar with Lua as I understgand C. Thanks for a quick vid on raylib game example.
ОтветитьYeah, raylib!! Let's go!!!!
ОтветитьGodot when?
ОтветитьTime to compare C99/Raylib with Rust/Bevy 😂
Ответитьtry love2d next
ОтветитьI know this guy who holds the world record for eating 8lbs of hashbrowns. Can anyone beat that fun fact?
Ответитьwhere is omni man where is he
Ответитьyou should make a game in raylib
ОтветитьThis is gooood stuff, BMo!
Ответитьso many XNA references. when are you making a game with monogame or FNA?
ОтветитьMore videos like this
Next time maybe SFML!?
Ha! What you gonna do next? An MMO RPG using Powershell?! :D
ОтветитьCornflower blue enjoyers probably face their shower heads. Couldn’t be me.
ОтветитьWait, why would you think that aliens don't use lumber too? I'll bet you that if humans are still around in 100 years and if humans are flying into space en masse on a regular basis, that they'll be using wood for desks on their spaceships or in the fanciest offices of Martian inspector generals or some such. Yeah, that's a lot of "ifs", but let's be honest, humans are probably going to wipe themselves out within the next 100 years.
ОтветитьYou ever hear about the fall of the Cornflower Blue Gang? Led by BMo—yeah, that BMo, the one who thought he could out-code the streets. Thought color and charisma were enough. But then came the Ashveil Order, quiet, ruthless, written in pure C. At their head? The Great Overseer Ray, architect of Raylib, the one who sees everything.
BMo tried to draw a line in the sand. Ray just toggled VSync and erased the map. One by one, Blue's draw calls failed. The shaders dimmed. The sprites flickered out. By the end, the Cornflower Blues weren’t even compiling.
Now Grafwall runs at 60 FPS, no warnings, no survivors.
New vid is next level…. this better go viral. Shrekalien is my dad
Ответитьyou're truly a pro-grammer (budum tshhhh)
ОтветитьFirst
ОтветитьIm a duck :)
