I am Irish, past 70 yes of age, love love, love Run Rig, play their music bids over and over again.
They left the Scene, but will never be forgotten or outdated, and will be loved always. Whyever not? This Band were more than Celtic Rock, this Band was/is Scotland, to me and so many others, young and not so young.
I'd miss them except for a lot of You Tube, so thank you, posters, and thanks to You Tube.

They are so involving that they pull a German audience into singing in English.

I fairly recently discovered Runrig, and really regret I didn't find them sooner. Would have loved to have seen them live. Boys if you monitor these chats how about a "final-final show?" You name the place and I will be there!

Runrig ARE Scotland. For those of us who loved them, forever in our soul, never lost to us as the music they have given us stirs our spirits, moves our emotions, blossoms our hearts, still and forever....missed but never forgotten.

why does Germany connect so much with Runrig?

All great musicians, but I have to say that Malcolm Jones is as talented, hard-working and stylish a lead guitarist I have ever seen or heard!

This was the first Runrig concert my father had seen ...I Remember....2001, i went downstairs as a young child....my father on the Floor with a scotch and watching WDR ROCKPALAST...he was paralysed...and so on- This my father favourite band. he loves Runrig! And no --- i love Runrig too. Iam 31 y old and my father died 2013 ... :'( The last Song on his Funereal was Every River by Runrig.

Thanks for sharing! I remember recording it from satellite TV on the night. All three of the 'Rockpalast' shows are excellent but this one is the best of the three. I think I prefer the 1999 Bonn one to the released version.

Runrig have to be one of the best bands to come out of Scotland. Have spanned generations, music is still relevant. World renowned, cannot think of another scottish band who.gets close
