I would've swapped out Prince of Darkness for They Live. Don't care about The Shining anymore. Saw it twice and never need to see it again.

My personal favorite and maybe it’s not original but my bloody valentine the thing that makes that movie great for me is the way the town or at least the mayor and the sheriff are panicking over harry warden reminds me of Halloween 4 in a way and love the ending also the coal mine setting and that outfit I really think it’s one of the best

RotLD is easily one of my all time favorites. Gun to my head it could even be my absolute favorite film depending on the day.

Part 2 is up there for me too, pretty crazy actually how great it is. It's a whole nother homerun as far as I'm concerned.

And part 3 is kind of its own beast, not as comparable, but still kicks ass!!! Brian Yuzna rules. Big props to him.

I havent seen either of the later sci fi channel sequels since back in the day on sci fi channel lol but they do exist, so maybe there is some appeal as a timecapsule or something.

I'd love a boxset that includes all 5 + bonus features and nice packaging, but I'd be more than happy with a trilogy set, or in the meantime, just Scream Factory releasing RotLD2 4k because I was late to the party and missed out on the slipped blu ray by a mile and I'm still rocking an old DVD that looks totally fine and so I am on no rush to upgrade.... But, I totally would lol.

Man, RotLD2 DOES get respect from a good amount of people, but I think it deserves a whole bunch more respect on it's name lol like universal praise!!!!!

Fun vid, cheers!!!

3. Child’s Play
4. Children of the Corn
5. The Evil Dead
6. An American Werewolf in London
7. Witchboard
8. Night of the Creeps
9. Burial Ground
10. Predator

This list isn’t in any kind of real order other than the order that the films popped into my head.

I agree with you on the original Friday the 13th. People tend to dismiss it as just a “Halloween rip off,” but the truth is that it has enough originality to stand on its own. It’s a horror classic. On Elm Street, the original, I think, will always be the best. None of the sequels, even the great Dream Warriors, matches the original. On Child’s Play, everything about the original is the best, even the ending. I think it was WAY better than CP2, which is the best sequel.

1. The Lost Boys (my favorite movie of all time)
2. Predator (I consider it a horror film)
3. The Burning
4. An American Werewolf In London
5. Monster Squad
6. Cannibal Holocaust
7. The Evil Dead
8. Fight Night
9. The Toxic Avenger
10. Poltergeist

I wanted to include The Fly, but since it is a remake, it probably wouldn't count, but I would put it above Cannibal Holocaust.

Hey there! We have a convention this weekend and I'm about to meet Jeffrey Combs! Can't wait! Your list is pretty good! Out of that list my unpopular opinion is I wasn't into Chucky much. I know....sacrilege. I know Chucky is iconic 80s so it should be on that list I just wasn't into it. NOES is my fave horror of all time so there's that.
