Ghostwatch was amazing, at the start it said it was fiction, I started to watch it after it, I was 19 at the time and I was spooked by it, the effects they did with the quick sightings of Mr Pipes was eerie as hell, when it finished it was way over the top and then I realised it was fake even the end said it again. But it got the most complaints ever, people calling up saying it was on at a time children could watch it etc.

To this day, it is still one of the best directed Halloween "live" shows done on TV. People should try and watch it if they can. This was back in the 90s though so be wary of the quality.

as a person that grew up in Germany, I never laughed at Bernd Das Brot. he horrified me. I got this really gutwrenching feeling of emptiness and almost claustrophobia from him, especially cause they'd replay the same clip over and over and over for the entire night. I later got diagnosed with depression (for other reasons obv haha) and realized I actually kinda felt similar to how I did watching Bernd das Brot...

Regarding Jan Böhmermann and his "poem" about Erdogan, while what Erdogan did was wrong and he could and should have simply ignored this, the "poem" itself was so juvenile and infantile that it could hardly pass as fun or satire but was really indeed straight up a compilation of insults!

So while I agree with the part where Erdogan was wrong, I would certainly not declare Böhmermann a Saint because of it. His "humor" is barely anything more than toilet humor any Hooligan in a Soccer Game could have devised that so called "poem" of his. I was incredibly disappointed when I read his "poem" and thought to myself "is that the best Germans can come up with? how the mighty have fallen!".
