How to Transfer All Data from an Old iPhone to a New iPhone

I seem to be getting stuck on the "Transferring data from Susan's iPhone" Time estimating: Estimating for a very long time- even over night. What could be wrong?

How do you make new phone same IOS if not transferred everything yet? I tried the same transfer as you but setting download took forever so trying now the transfer from iCloud instead of iPhone

I have an older iPhone 6S with an outdated iOS 12. I'm assuming this method won't work and will have to use the iCloud solution to transfer the data?

Does this also copies your text messages and all? Such as imessage and whatsapp?

I feel like the old phone settings mess with the new settings maybe its just me , because on my iPhone 13 pro max my airpods sound louder than on my iPhone 14 pro max same after transferring everything

Help I’m transferring from a iPhone 7 Plus to a 13 everything works fine until I try to transfer once it’s say preparing then it says new phone doesn’t have enough storage I don’t know what to do because they are both 128gb it’s just the old one has 200gb of iCloud I don’t know what to do help

You left out a step; you have be sure your old iphone has Bluetooth turned on

This is so f*** annoying that I have to be connected to WiFi to be able to back up to iCloud! The WiFi of my iPhone is broken which is why I bought a new iPhone, but now what?

I see that in the beginning it shows your cellular service already on the new phone does this process do that too or did you have to transfer that a different way

Does it work with pictures apps and passwords?

So, I want to buy a new phone, is it possible that I could transfer all the data via device to device without signing into i cloud?

Hi had mine done in Apple stores. But I tried to add a new bank card myself. I found I had to have all the set up details and pass numbers account numbers it was a complete nightmare and then got locked out scream 😱 does this only happen when adding a NEW BANK CARD TO APPLE WALLET. you video is excellent and very much appreciated

Thanks. Will try this from an iPhone 8 to a iPhone SE Gen 3 as I don't see why this would not work although the SE is not listed in the description. Edit: It works for the SE Gen 3. Note, if the new phone (I bought it used from Amazon) has an older OS, it prompts you during this process to update the OS and then continues after completing that task. This really works well in 2023, thank you!
