really love this greenscreen skits lmao
ОтветитьCombat style is the thing that makes an mmo interesting for me and FFXIV, WOW just needs to drop tab target its outdated asf
ОтветитьThe fact that BDO is in the list shows every player with more than 3 years that you have no idea about the situation surrounding BDO.
PA full kill PvP, GvG, Open World PvP.
And bans players who do pvp.
Nodwar/Siege is 90% dead.
PvE is meaningless, you can do PVE in bdo and then do more PvE faster. Cool.
P2W is ridiculous in BDO, especially for new players, you need pets for looting and 5 good pets can cost if you are lucky 50€-60€ if not 100€-150€
you need that Grind tent, on sale 30€ not on sale 50€, maybe you want 1-2 outfits per set 35€.......GL new players you can buy 2-3 times Baldur's Gate 3 just for STARTING BDO atm.
i want to like eso so badly. the game is so beautiful. the world and quests are so good. the cosmetics. voice acting. everything... but the combat is so ugh.. as well as the open world being completely trivial.
ОтветитьBlack desert is really fun, i just started playing it and in so many aspects it feels so much more fun then other mmos, but it definitely lacks in a few things, if it can polish those things it can truly be one of the best :)
ОтветитьReally like how much you've branched out over the year's dude. Great content as usual! 😊
ОтветитьI love bdo but I don’t really have the time to play
ОтветитьThoughts on GW2?
ОтветитьTera is a great too
ОтветитьESO really needs to figure out a way to teach people how the combat actually works. It is so sad to see how many don't like the game because they can't get into the combat. It is not even particularly difficult, but you need to get into the rhythm of it, then it is not slow or clunky at all. In fact, many of the long-term players explicitly point out the combat as one of the main reasons to keep playing. Unfortunately, without external guides it is almost impossible to learn it properly.
ОтветитьThe voice acted quests in the elder scrolls online are so good, they are not forgetable checkmarks like in other mmos. They made my leveling experience so fun. Highly recomended if your favourite form of leveling Is doing quests
ОтветитьI just couldn't really get into the story of FFXIV would the story become less as you progress through the game? if so at around what level?
ОтветитьEso just has a skill based combat system watching you play eso makes my brain hurt. Having played Almost ever mmo for whatever reason people have the hardest time grasping ESOs combat. You are just like swinging your sword around randomly. Once you learn it, it is one of the smoothest combat systems I have played
ОтветитьWaven looks like a Wakfu clone
ОтветитьFor reference, do you have an actual list of all the MMO’s you’ve played a fair amount? An issue with a lot of the MMO opinion videos that I see a lot is that they don’t say all the MMO’s they’ve tried, so it’s hard to have a frame of reference for any sort of validity. I’ve played most the main ones since UO, so as a veteran, I have a bit of a different viewpoint than probably the average viewer.
ОтветитьYou don't have 3k hours on bdo
ОтветитьPartially voice acted is why I haven't jumped into FFXIV or at least that's the excuse I'm going with. WoW shaped and also held back the genre as everyone chased it's success to much failure and stifled innovation. Spot on about ESO's combat, TES in general has always had horrible combat. I've had a love/hate relationship with BDO I like most of the game, the graphical popins are atrocious but the thing that usually makes me quit for long stretches is the enhancement system it's such garbage. Waven looks interesting, way, way back I had the highest lv char in Dofus but I may or may not have sold my account after quitting I was a bit too addicted.
Ответитьalso warframe
Ответитьno gw2 is crazy to me
Ответитьyea bdo is all about grinding, there alot of content within the game but they are not worth of your time and story is not interesting as other
ОтветитьAny kind sould could write a TLDS? damn to much speech right?
ОтветитьMy personal favourite mmo is by far SWTOR.
The game I always go back to, and spend most hours playing.
Imagine being a filthy clicker, smh smh
ОтветитьNew World > WoW > ESO > BDO > FFXIV
ОтветитьPlay New World
ОтветитьP99 is good specially if you played back in the day. Nostalgic, grindy, populated enough to do all end game but not over camped in general
ОтветитьRecommended games by you?:))) yeah nah so now we know what game we should not play 😂 also the intro is shit, please save us from the cringe in the future.
ОтветитьNot having chapters in 2024 means instant dislike
ОтветитьI appreciate the geshin impact bgm
ОтветитьOnly 1 I would actually play, BDO. At least you put one decent action combat MMORPG on your list.
ОтветитьYou forgot OSR, its still the top mmo.
ОтветитьSubjectively, Endwalker resonated with me more than the other expansions, although Heavensward is classic "Ivalice" style Final Fantasy and my favorite.
Thematically, EW felt like a retrospective and introspective musing on life: loss, the maturity to integrate suffering into your existence, looking at where you started and where you've come. It feels like a story written by someone who is looking back. Most people I know in their late thirties or early forties praised EW but younger folks seem ambivalent to it.
For as good of a story as it was for me, it also ruined the game. To me, Endwalker IS the end of my adventure. I saved existence. I really wish they'd just gently let it sail off into the night, running the servers and letting us all retire instead of pushing more of this game with problematic legacy code hampering it at every step.
I really hope Square-Enix announces the next FF-themed MMO soon and I hope it has approachable action combat, because I'm sick to death of tab-targeting/pushbutton/oldschool MMO combat bogged down by the "holy trinity". Variable dungeons proved you don't need the old paradigm. And if they insist on breaking immersion by introducing official '90s-looking outfits and basically cellphones and computers, just set the damn thing in a more modern era. I know magitek has always been the bread-and-butter of the franchise, but XIV takes it too far and if the modding community is to be believed, people are hungry for modern attire and behaviors.
I was hoping for a newer recommendation in the video, but nobody really seems eager to take down the swollen, tired behemoth that is FFXIV. Oh well.
Nobody is going to get upset with you mentioning ESO action combat not being as fast as the others, and believing you have to be a great animation cancel specialist. It's the biggest lie and biggest truth at the same time.
ОтветитьI like Genshin Impact music
ОтветитьLove FF, but have a really hard time playing WoW anymore. I have a lot of detest for Activision as a company, so putting money in their pockets (regardless of how many fond memories of Azeroth I have) always makes me feel a little gross.
ОтветитьEso animations canceling is one thing to get more dps but weaving some ppl dont even do that which is light/heavy attacking in-between skill and think weaving is animation canceling
ОтветитьLove the intro skits ❤
ОтветитьCan never get past level 15 in FF14 before I get bored. Too many cinematic cutscenes and I hear it speeds up in later levels, but its too slow paced early levels I can't power through fast enough.
ОтветитьFun intro
Ответитьdaoc was way better for pvp. wow still has nothing on peak daoc rvr. the community was the best... I miss that wholesome place.
the community is worth 50% of the fun in mmos... while I personally am a story lover, I can admit that stories make like 10% and gameplay about 35-40% of the importance in fun and long term appeal. (0-5%, depending on the people, customisation options, like glamour or transmog)
wow's toxisity prevents me from enjoying it. hell, fallout 76 is way more fun than wow, and that barely has 5% (if at all) as much content as wow. the community is better too.
ff14 has the best community. the story blows all non bg3 games out of the water. the combat is tactical and more fun than "press the entire keyboard worth of skills every second or be called a noob or weak" wow combat.
i think you forgot guild wars 2. that one gets updated quite nicely (not as qualitatively as ff14, but still good) gw2 also respects your time much more than most.
SWTOR is also good for a decent story with alot of "choices matter" though it has been feeling alot like a single player over the past few years
I play pso2 on and off, best char creator in mmos atm and the community is better than wow's
and on the subject of communities, even if runescape is not my cup of tea, the community is still great and gets me to play (or at least spectate) with some friends from time to time
New good eastern MMO never ever. Now it's purely about mobile gaming and pleasing shareholders.
ОтветитьYou're not actively playing GW2 now, Mr. Stix? :(
Ответитьshowing FF14 but in Liyue BGM, I thought my ears isekai-ed XD
Ответитьthanks for the recomendation but i will play Grand Blue Fantasy Relink instead (release on February)
Ответитьsurprised lost ark i wasnt seen up there, do love that game still.
Ответитьstill wishing that Genshin that you use as bgm for this video is an mmorpg….
ОтветитьFinal Fantasy 14
